  • Patent number: 8915101
Abstract: The invention addresses the problem of providing a warp knitted fabric manufacturing method capable of stably producing a warp knitted fabric wherein the longitudinal stretchability is 200%. To solve the problem, the invention is a warp knitted fabric manufacturing method that forms bands of a warp knitted structure with increased longitudinal stretchability by forming stitches with an elastic warp (2) while knitting in an elastic inserted yarn (3) in the warp direction and knitting in the weft (4) in the course direction, wherein: active feed means (30), which are obtained by placing a single follower roller (323) above two drive rollers (321, 322), are disposed on the respective paths of the warp (2) and the inserted yarn (3) to feed the warp (2) and the inserted yarn (3) to the warp knitting machine while increasing the respective elongation percentage.

  • Patent number: 6151552
Abstract: A route guidance apparatus comprises a guiding device for, every time a turning point for which guidance is to be provided existing on a route for reaching a destination is approached, providing travel guidance for that turning point by at least a voice generated from a voice generating device. In particular, when the turning point for which guidance is to be provided is included in a traffic circle and the route turns from the traffic circle to an exit road toward an outer side thereof at the turning point, the guiding device provides travel guidance specifying how many ahead the exit road to be taken is among exit roads toward the outer side of the traffic circle. As a result, travel guidance with which a user can exit from the traffic circle through a correct exit.

  • Patent number: 5778333
Abstract: An intersection determination process determines the state of intersection of adjacent segments in a display such as one for a vehicle navigation system, and if it is determined that there is an is an intersection between the segments, an orientation-intersection point transformation value table is referred to for computation of the intersection transformation value. This table shows the relationship of the combination of the orientations of the previous segment and the present segment with an intersection point transformation value. This intersection point transformation value is added to the coordinates of the end point of the previous segment to obtain the intersection. The intersection point derived in this way is generated as data for traffic display.

  • Patent number: 5668790
Abstract: A flexible rack member has a substantially V-shaped cam portion formed therein. There is a substantially U-shaped guide slit formed on a wall of a housing. A support bar projected from a reproducing unit is formed so as to fit in a cam portion through the guide slit. Further, tray racks are formed on respective side faces of each tray. Joint pins mounted on both end portions of the rack member are guided by a guide groove formed on each tray while being in mesh therewith. As a result, by moving the rack member between the trays, an up-and-down movement of the reproducing unit, a movement of the reproducing unit between the trays, and an opening and closing of each tray can be carried out successively. Additionally, there is a tray gear member as the only drive source, and a contact portion formed on the guide groove is a key to switch each operation. The described arrangement provides an inexpensive disk reproducing device which enables the operation to be switched with an accurate timing.

  • Patent number: 5544147
Abstract: A disk reproducing apparatus is provided with first and second trays which can reciprocate between a reproducing area for storing therein a reproducing unit and a stand-by area adjacent to the reproducing area. The first and second trays are interchangeable by moving the second tray in an opposite direction to the first tray along a path formed at a higher position than that for the first tray. In this interchanging operation, the second tray being moved from said stand-by area to said reproducing area is lowered from a height position of the path situated above the first tray preferably to the same height position as the first tray set in said reproducing area. Since the described arrangement offers a smaller height difference between the first and second trays in the reproducing area, a stroke of the up-and-down movement of the reproducing unit can be made smaller, thereby achieving a reduction in size of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5533000
Abstract: A turn table in an optical disk apparatus in accordance with the present invention is provided with a mount section for use in a mini disk (MD) at the top portion thereof and another mount section for use in a compact disk (CD) at the base portion thereof. This arrangement makes it possible to drive optical disks of different types by the use of the same turn table. Below the turn table, are installed an optical pickup and a base plate that is provided with switches for discriminating whether the MD in question is dedicated solely to reproduction use or is used for both recording and reproduction, and positioning pins for the MD. The optical pickup is also allowed to move in the radial direction of the disk by support members. The optical pickup, the support members and the base plate are integrally moved up and down between a station close to the MD and a station close to the CD.
