  • Patent number: 11865721
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to obtain a work determination apparatus capable of preventing or reducing a time lag between the occurrence and determination of an anomaly in work. A work determination apparatus includes: a sensor data output unit that outputs sensor data with an output interval of an integral multiple of a control period with which a motion of a robot is controlled, the sensor data representing a state of work of the robot; and a determination unit that determines a quality of the work of the robot by inference using a recurrent neural network, based on the sensor data outputted from the sensor data output unit.

  • Publication number: 20240003937
Abstract: An on-board control device includes a communication unit that is communicable with a tachometer, a pick-up coil, an acceleration sensor a detection axis of which is provided along a traveling direction of the train, and a master controller, a storage unit that stores information regarding a gradient value at each position on a train line where the train travels, and a control unit that specifies a train position by using information acquired from the pick-up coil and the tachometer, determines a traveling state from information acquired from the master controller, and when the train coasts or is stopped, diagnoses soundness of the acceleration sensor based on a comparison result obtained by comparing a first acceleration of the train output from the acceleration sensor with a second acceleration in the traveling direction calculated by using a gravity acceleration and a gradient value at the train position.

  • Patent number: 8004424
Abstract: A driving assist device for a vehicle of the present invention, comprising an object detection device to detect an object to be recognized around the vehicle, an eyes-direction specification device to specify a direction of driver's eyes, and a mark indication device to indicate a specified-shape mark at a specified portion of a windshield that is located in the direction of the driver's eyes specified by the eyes-direction specification device and then to indicate the specified-shape mark in such a manner that the mark overlaps with the object. Accordingly, the driver can be properly made recognize any object in danger even in case the driver's eyes are not directed to such object.

  • Publication number: 20080201039
Abstract: In a driving assist device for a vehicle, there are provided a specified-operation detecting device to detect that a specified operation is conducted by a driver at a normal driving state, a normal-driving-state stimulation proving device to provide the driver with a specified stimulation associated with the specified operation when conduction of the specified operation by the driver is detected, a collision-likelihood determining device to determine a likelihood of collision of the vehicle against an obstacle, a collision-avoidance operation determining device to determine a necessary operation to be conducted by the driver for avoidance of collision when the likelihood of collision of the vehicle against the obstacle is determined, and a collision-avoidance-state stimulation proving device to provide the driver with a stimulation associated with the necessary operation for collision avoidance so that the driver can be encouraged to conduct the necessary operation for collision avoidance.

  • Patent number: 5461357
Abstract: An obstacle detection device for a vehicle includes an area determining section for determining a detection area extended forward of a running vehicle and provided for detecting an obstacle, a split section for splitting the area into a plurality of small split zones, a detecting section for detecting an obstacle in each of the small split zones, inferring section for an inferring a path of the vehicle in the obstacle detection area, and a judging section for judging a rank of danger of an obstacle in the detection area. The obstacle can be properly detected so that the vehicle can take a responsive and appropriate action for avoiding the obstacle.

  • Patent number: 5332057
Abstract: A contact preventive system for vehicles using an automatic braking device and an automatic steering device together. Contact forecasting mechanism forecasts the contact of a vehicle with an obstacle. When the contact of the obstacle is forecasted, automatic braking control mechanism operates the automatic braking device. Environment detecting mechanism detects the change of environment such as a friction coefficient of a road. Automatic steering control mechanism operates the automatic steering device to alter the advance direction of the vehicle when a possibility of contact is caused by the change of environment during automatic braking. Thus, contact can be avoided.
