Abstract: A bicycle control apparatus is basically provided with a controller. The controller includes a processor, a memory, and an I/O interface. The controller is arranged to communicate with an assist mechanism of a bicycle. The assist mechanism includes an assist motor arranged to impart a supplemental drive force to the bicycle to supplement a manual drive force of the bicycle. The controller is programmed to alternately set a first control state or a second control state. The controller controls the assist motor such that an output state of the assist motor with respect to a manual drive force of the bicycle is different in the first control state than in the second control state.

Abstract: A battery pack includes cell units in which upper and lower battery cells are connected in series, wherein an output of series-connection and an output of parallel-connection can be switched. The cell units are respectively provided with protection circuit ICs for monitoring the state of the battery cells, and only the protection circuit on the lower cell unit side is provided with a controller 350 including a microcomputer. To adjust the power consumption for the microcomputer only provided in the lower cell unit, the circuit on the upper cell unit side is provided with a current consumption control means including dummy loads. The current consumption control means is operated in conjunction with the start-up of the microcomputer in the controller so as to equalize power consumption on the upper cell unit side and the lower cell unit side.
Abstract: An exhaust gas purifying composition of the present invention contains zeolite that is BEA zeolite having an SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of greater than 25 and 600 or less and containing phosphorus. Furthermore, the exhaust gas purifying composition preferably contains zirconium in addition to phosphorus. Furthermore, the zeolite has an SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of from 30 to 150. The present invention provides an exhaust gas purifying composition having excellent HC adsorbability for exhaust gas purification in internal combustion engines such as gasoline engines.

In order to stop a charging/discharging when a contact failure occurs, a signal (abnormality stoppage signal or charging stoppage signal) for stopping discharge is produced and outputted to the electrical device body-side.
