  • Patent number: 4365209
Abstract: An impedance transducer is shown wherein two active elements of the same characteristics are formed on one thermally conductive base, one of these active elements is connected in a negative feedback circuit of a negative feedback amplifier, and the internal impedance of the other of these active elements is proportional to the input of the negative feedback amplifier.

  • Patent number: 4214257
Abstract: A method for reproducing a three-dimensional image on a color television picture tube. A right side optical system is used for taking a picture of the right side portion of a subject or a scene while a left side optical system for taking a picture of the left side. The video signals pertaining only to the first and all odd field scannings are derived from the right side optical system while the video signals pertaining only to the second and all even field scannings are derived from the left side optical system. When reproduced, the trios of color dots or strips excited along each of the odd numbered scanning lines are spaced apart from each other by two color dot or strip pitches in the horizontal direction and also spaced apart by one pitch line from the trios of color dots or strips excited along the adjacent even-numbered scanning lines.

  • Patent number: 4112470
Abstract: A system for repeatedly reproducing recorded information of a limited duration, suitable for use as a learning medium, using a multiplicity of recording tapes of a predetermined length, each having respective information recorded thereon, and a special playback unit. The playback unit comprises a circulating path having an inlet and an outlet for the tape. When the tape is inserted through the inlet into the circulating path, it is circulated about the path a desired number of times so as to repeatedly reproduce the information recorded thereon and when ejection means is operated, the circulating tape is inserted from the path into the outlet to be ejected outside the unit. The tapes which are not in use may be conveniently sorted or stored by means in accordance with the invention.

  • Patent number: 4079365
Abstract: A system is provided whereby each person in a group is provided with a response unit comprising push buttons to indicate a response or answer selected from a plurality of possible answers to a question from an interrogater. A memory and indicator unit is provided to store and indicate the responses. The response units are connected in parallel to the memory unit through a unitary transmission line. The response units also comprise indicator light units to indicate the respective responses as stored in the memory unit, all of the indicator light units being connected in parallel to the memory unit through a unitary response line which may be integral with the transmission line. Scanning means sequentially scan the push buttons of the respective response units, the memory units and the indicator light units of the response units in synchronism. An absentee memory unit is also provided to indicate unused response units.

  • Patent number: 4004354
Abstract: In a group response analyzing system of the type comprising a central console for a questioner and a plurality of response or terminal consoles for questionees intercommunicated with the central console so that the responses may be automatically collected from the response consoles and processed and the results of processing may be displayed, the intercommunication channel comprises scanning lines between the central console and each of the terminal consoles and a common information line between the central console and the terminal consoles so that the intercommunication between the central console and the terminal consoles may be established sequentially through said common information line when said terminal consoles are sequentially selected by the scanning lines.
