    Abstract: A business method includes imaging documents with an imaging device placed at a location. Media usage is monitored over a cellular network. Upon the media reaching a predetermined level, workers provide additional media. Workers exist in the “gig” economy and have preplaced media. No longer do users change or swap media in media trays. Packaging materials bundle the media. For use, only a portion of the packaging materials is opened thereby revealing an end of the media. Both the packaging materials and the exposed media are inserted into a reusable media shell in a manner making the media available for picking by the imaging device. Other embodiments are envisioned.

The medical device may include one or more pressure wave emitters positioned along the central longitudinal axis of the elongated body. The one or more pressure wave emitters may be configured to propagate at least one pressure wave through the fluid to fragment the calcified lesion. At least one pressure wave emitter may include an optical fiber configured to transmit laser energy into the balloon. The laser energy may be configured to create a cavitation bubble in the fluid.

    Abstract: A payment processing method uses a credit push for completing a transaction at a terminal device. The process can include scanning an optical code at terminal device using a mobile device to determine creditor bank information. A debtor bank server receives the creditor bank information and provides a credit push request to a payment rail. The payment rail communicates a credit payment transaction request to a creditor bank sever. The creditor bank server identifies the terminal device and instructs completion of the transaction at the terminal device in an amount corresponding to the credit push request. The transaction is initiated at the terminal device. An authentication procedure for facilitating the transaction by communicating the creditor bank information is performed by the mobile device and not by the terminal device.

However, the bed is oriented so as to form a first non-zero degree angle between the central axis and the scanner axis. The first motor translates the bed along the central axis, and a second motor may translate the bed along an axis orthogonal to the central axis and scanner axis. Since the voxels pass through the scanner in different relative positions of the bed, additional information may be acquired during the scan.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for dispensing cards and other items. In one embodiment, a card dispensing apparatus includes at least first and second card hoppers and a movable card carriage. The card carriage is movable between a first position proximate to the first card hopper and a second position proximate to the second card hopper. The card carriage is configured to receive a first card from the first card hopper when in the first position and a second card from the second card hopper when in the second position. In one aspect of this embodiment, the card carriage can dispense at least the first card into a card outlet chute when the first card has been sufficiently read by a card reader. Alternatively, the card carriage can dispense the first card into a card escrow chute when the first card has not been sufficiently read by the card reader.
