  • Patent number: 11130441
Abstract: An arrangement comprising an attachment and a self-propelled harvester is disclosed, with the attachment configured to harvest a crop and having a middle region for removable connection to a feeder housing of the self-propelled harvester. The attachment also includes lateral regions positioned adjacent to the middle region, with each having a bottom surface extending in a horizontal direction and a rear wall extending in a vertical direction. Lighting devices are positioned on the attachment above the respective bottom surface and below the top edge of the rear wall with light cones directed in the driving direction to illuminate a region in front of the attachment beyond the front edge of the bottom surface.

  • Patent number: 10448569
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method and device for the operation of a combine harvester with multiple work elements for harvesting a crop via a driver assistance system. In one example implementation, a method for operating such a combine harvester includes determining separately a harvest setting for the crop and a machine configuration of the combine harvester, preselecting a process control strategy among a plurality of process control strategies based on the harvest setting and machine configuration wherein each of the plurality of process control strategies is aimed at fulfillment of at least one harvesting quality criterion stored in the memory of the combine harvester, and automatically determining at least one machine parameter for the work elements of the combine harvester according to the preselected process control strategy and controlling the work elements corresponding to the at least one machine parameter.

  • Publication number: 20180317385
Abstract: A method for executing an agricultural harvesting process on a field by an integrated system of agricultural harvesting machines, wherein the harvesting machines in the integrated system each comprise crop-processing working units which can be adjusted using machine parameters for adaptation to the particular harvesting conditions, wherein the harvesting machines in the integrated system communicate with each other via a wireless data network. One harvesting machine in the integrated system is designed as a self-optimizing harvesting machine which comprises a driver assistance system for automatically generating machine parameters which have been optimized with respect to the crop processing, and the optimized machine parameters are provided by the self-optimizing harvesting machine via the data network to the other harvesting machines in the integrated system that do not comprise a driver assistance system.
