Abstract: A stud bolt has a first thread portion, a second thread portion, an engagement portion and a large diameter portion. The first thread portion is screwable into a first member about a screw axis. The second thread portion is screwable into a second member about the screw axis and is provided coaxially with the first thread portion. The engagement portion is provided on a side of the second thread portion, which is opposite from the first thread portion. The large diameter portion has a circular cross-section perpendicular to the screw axis. The large diameter portion is located between the first thread portion and the second thread portion. • Publication number: 20170104435
Abstract: An integrated IC provided in an SBW-ECU has plural functions such as a receiving function of receiving output signals of an encoder and a current supply function of supplying current to each phase of the motor. A microcomputer checks individually whether the signal receiving function and the current supply function are potentially abnormal and checks whether the integrated IC is abnormal based on the check results about the signal receiving function and the current supply function. For example, when it is determined that only the signal receiving function of the integrated IC is potentially abnormal, the encoder is determined to be abnormal. When it is determined that the signal receiving function and the current supply function of the integrated IC are both potentially abnormal, the integrated IC is determined to be abnormal.

  • Publication number: 20170077858
Abstract: A motor control device is provided with a control circuit and a driving circuit. The control circuit switches over a current supply phase of the motor in a predetermined angular rotation of the rotor a first switching number of times in an acceleration range. The control circuit switches over the current supply phase of the motor in the predetermined angular rotation of the rotor a second switching number of times in a stationary rotation range in a specific condition that the rotation speed of the rotor is between a predetermined first threshold value and a predetermined second threshold value. The control circuit sets the second switching number to be smaller than the first switching number. In the acceleration range, the switching number is relatively large and hence a sufficient driving torque is applied to the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20160084348
Abstract: Each of gear teeth of an external gear has a tooth-bottom portion, a tooth-middle portion and a tooth-front portion. The tooth-middle portion is operatively engaged with an internal gear. A cross-sectional shape of the tooth-bottom portion is formed by a hypocycloid curved line. A cross-sectional shape of the tooth-middle portion is formed by an epicycloid curved line. A cross-sectional shape of the tooth-front portion is formed by a first predetermined curved line, which is located at a position closer to a first pitch circle of the external gear in a radial-inward direction from a reference epicycloid curved line. The reference epicycloid curved line is continuously connected to each of the curved lines of the tooth-middle portion at both circumferential sides of each gear tooth. As a result, the tooth-front portion is so formed that a part of the tooth-front portion is escaped in the radial-inward direction from the reference epicycloid curved line.

  • Patent number: 9050904
Abstract: A shift range switcher includes a motor for switching a shift range and a controller for energizing the motor. The controller estimates temperatures of the motor and controller. The controller adds to the estimated controller temperature a value corresponding to heat generation in the controller due to energization of the motor. The controller subtracts from the estimated controller temperature a value corresponding to heat release from the controller due to de-energization of the motor. The controller adds to the estimated motor temperature a value corresponding to heat generation in the motor due to the energization. The controller subtracts from the estimated motor temperature a value corresponding to heat release from the motor due to the de-energization. The controller prohibits or restricts operations of the controller and the motor when at least one of the controller and motor estimated temperatures reaches an allowable temperature limit.

  • Patent number: 7948145
Abstract: A plurality of concavities and convexities is provided on tips of all rotor teeth 24 of the SR motor 5. Depths of the concave portions ? are deep on an edge side where a stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 first approach and are shallow as a facing area between the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 increases. Therefore, magnetic resistance between the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 becomes high at an early stage of the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 facing each other and becomes low as the facing area between the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 increases. As a result, torque fluctuation can be suppressed at a time of a large current and a minimum generation torque can be increased at a time of a small current.

  • Publication number: 20090000411
Abstract: A shift range change mechanism changes a shift range of an automatic transmission of a vehicle. A parking change mechanism disables rotation of a drive axle of the vehicle by engaging a park pole supported by a stationary member against a parking gear, which is rotated synchronously with the drive axle of the vehicle, at time of setting the shift range to parking. The parking change mechanism enables the rotation of the drive axle by disengaging the park pole from the parking gear at time of parking release of the shift range. An electric rotatable actuator drives the shift range change mechanism and the parking change mechanism. An SBW ECU controls power supply to an electric motor of the rotatable actuator. The SBW ECU increases an output torque of the electric motor only at the time of the parking release.
