Hybrid last-mile delivery may refer to delivery of items in which a delivery vehicle meets customers at a pickup location at a specified time. Thus, instead of conventional last-mile delivery in which a delivery vehicle delivers items to an end point, such as a customer home, customers are to meet the delivery vehicle at a specified location and time to pick up items. The systems and methods described herein may include computational modeling of delivery vehicles and items to be delivered in a hybrid last-mile delivery to identify or select delivery vehicles and/or filling the delivery vehicles.

The decentralized talent discovery protocol may run a talent contest using self-executing smart contracts for voting parameters, crypto-tokens to facilitate democratization of the contest, and a decentralized ledger for immutably storing a record of voting events. The smart contracts may automatically execute code that enforces agreed-upon rules for voting and compensation for various parties. The decentralized ledger may provide immutable and secure proof of voting and compensation rights. To vote for a performer during the talent contest, a voting user may provide crypto-tokens issued by the system in exchange for a vote or the crypto-tokens themselves may be pledged to a performer. The crypto-tokens obtained through voting may be distributed according to the smart contract. The outcome of the talent contest may be determined by the number of votes and/or amount of cryptocurrency pledged to the performer.

For example, an improved projection mapping technique is disclosed in which a physical object is augmented with a projection image that is projected onto a physical scene. In some instances, the projection may be made in accordance with a timeline. The timeline may be used to synchronize other actions and behaviors of the system as well as the actions of live performers such as actors and users such as audience members. In some instances, the projection images may be driven by audience or other inputs to the system, such as sensor-based inputs. The sensor-based or other inputs may also or alternatively drive physical components such as actuators that impact the real-world objects.
