  • Patent number: 7834705
Abstract: There is provided a frequency synthesizer including a multi-band voltage controlled oscillator having a plurality of voltage controlled oscillating cores outputting oscillation frequencies having different bands according to an input control voltage. Each of the voltage controlled oscillating cores outputs a frequency band divided into a plurality of bands, and the voltage controlled oscillating core operates by each of the divided bands, and one of the voltage controlled oscillating cores operates in one of the bands according to the control voltage. The frequency synthesizer further includes a comparator unit and an oscillation band-determining unit. The comparator unit compares the control voltage with a pre-set reference voltage range. The oscillation band-determining unit changes the band where the voltage controlled oscillating core operates into another one of the bands when the control voltage is out of the pre-set reference voltage range.

  • Patent number: 7255820
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for the manufacture of an elastic polyurethane fiber, including mixing one component selected from among polystyrene polymers or polystyrene copolymers having a number average molecular weight of 50,000–500,000 with polyurethane having a number average molecular weight of 15,000–100,000, to prepare a polymer mixture, which is then spun. The polyurethane elastic fiber made by the method is also provided, which is greatly increased in heat set properties, with a very low rate of change of fundamental properties as the results compared with conventional elastic polyurethane fibers. Hence, the elastic polyurethane fiber can be directly applied for preparation of end products requiring superior heat set properties with no change of conventional conditions of the process.

  • Publication number: 20060029800
Abstract: Disclosed is a fluorescent elastic yarn and method for producing the same. The fluorescent elastic yarn which is finished with the spinfinish oil containing the fluorescent agent can fluoresce sufficiently to allow a fine elastic yarn to be seen by the naked eye when ultraviolet light is irradiated to the fluorescent elastic yarn. Therefore, the fluorescent elastic yarn of the present invention is advantageous in that CSY (Core spun yarn) producers are able to identify its presence inside of the hard fiber covering it more easily and timely and thus minimize the numbers of inferior CSY products which are not spun with elastic yarn strands.
