  • Publication number: 20240086448
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure support systems and methods providing functionality for detecting the presence of cited with relationships in documents. In an aspect, a plurality of documents comprising legal citations is received and analyzed by one or more processors to detect cited with relationships within the documents. The plurality of documents may be analyzed to identify subsets of documents based on the legal citations and the cited with relationships. The cited with relationships may be identified and/or classified according to sets of proximity and/or contextual rules. In an aspect, metadata related to the cited with relationships may be generated and stored in a metadata database. In an aspect, metadata regarding cited with relationship may facilitate searching for documents having and/or identifying cited with relationships.

  • Publication number: 20240086465
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating graphical views of searches. For example, a set of search results may be identified based on a search of legal content maintained at a data source and the search results may be output to a graphical user interface (GUI). Information associated with particular search results of the set of search results may be displayed in response to inputs corresponding to activation of interactive elements of the GUI are received, and the disclosed systems and methods may track one or more metrics associated with the interactions corresponding to each displayed search result. A graphical view of the displayed search results (i.e., ones viewed by the researcher) may be generated based on the one or more metrics and output to a display device. The tracked metrics may be used to quantify a relevancy of the search results, which may be indicated in the graphical view.

  • Patent number: 6479214
Abstract: An apparatus for retrieving information stored on an optical disk as colored dots, using an array of laser diodes emitting multiple wavelengths. Colored dots store more information than pits and spaces on optical disks because each colored dot represents a multiple-bit code of information rather than a single bit. The optical disk reader directs multiple wavelength diode laser beams to the disk surface. The reflected beams are then separated using an array of dichroic filters, and sent to light sensors. The light sensors identify the intensity of each of the reflected frequencies and determine the wavelength combination being reflected from the optical disk, which corresponds to a multiple-bit code.
