  • Patent number: 9787493
Abstract: Control information from a plurality of applications 1000 is written into a shared memory 101 as needed. A communication part 105 transmits the control information written in the shared memory 101 to a DHM 200 in each transmission cycle which is constant. In a management table, a plurality of allowable delay times is defined, the allowable delay time being a delay time allowable at an urgent transmission of the control information. A transmission timing notification part 106 divides a transmission cycle into time slots each of which is equal to or shorter than the shortest allowable delay time defined in the management table. The communication part 105 transmits the control information in the shared memory 101 to the DHM 200 before arrival of the transmission cycle, in a unit of time slot.

  • Patent number: 7534382
Abstract: A radiator core support is made by an insert injection molding method. Four core members shaped in a triangular prism are built into a quadric-prism core and inserted into a rectangular tube, an upper radiator core support member. Then, an outwardly pressing member is inserted into a longitudinal slanted hole of the core to move and contact its members to the inner surfaces of the tube. The tube is located in a mold, into which molten molding material is injected. The tube is overmolded at the tops of a hood lock stay, and right and left side support members, being integrally formed out of resin. After cooling, the method includes drawing the pressing member from the core; then the core from the mold; and the molded part is removed from the mold.

  • Patent number: 6862527
Abstract: A laser radar scanningly irradiates electromagnetic waves around a subject vehicle detects the electromagnetic waves reflected from objects around the subject vehicle, and outputs detected distances from the subject vehicle to the objects in the respective directions of scanning irradiation. A recognition unit detects, based on the detection results of the laser radar, a relative position and a relative speed of each of the objects around the subject vehicle with respect to the subject vehicle. The recognition unit stores whether or not detection points data (i.e., a direction of scanning irradiation and a detected distance in that direction) exists and determines attributes such as positions, sizes, etc., of the objects lying around the subject vehicle. In coordination with the recognition unit, an object tracker calculates relative speeds as between the vehicle and detected objects, with particular reference to objects exhibiting a greater difference in relative speed over time.

  • Patent number: 6657583
Abstract: The present invention provides a pulse radar apparatus which is capable of detecting properly an object and measuring a distance up to the object in a short distance even if a leakage signal is contained in a received signal. The pulse radar apparatus includes: transmission means for transmitting an electric wave; reception means for receiving the reflected electric wave into which the electric wave transmitted by the transmission means has been reflected by an object to output the received signal thereof; waveform leading part extracting means for extracting a plurality of leading parts of the received signal outputted by the reception means; sampling means for sampling the output of the waveform leading part extracting means at predetermined time intervals; and detection/distance measuring means for judging on the basis of the time interval data outputted by the time interval measuring means whether or not an object is present and when an object is present, calculating the distance up to the object.

  • Patent number: 6650403
Abstract: In a distance measuring device, reflected pulsed light beams with respect to one transmitted light beam are amplified by plural amplifiers (22a, 22b) of different gains. The retroreflection times of the reflected pulsed light beams are detected by retroreflection time detectors (30a, 30b) respectively connected to the amplifiers. Based on outputs of the retroreflection time detectors, distance calculator (40) judges the overlapping state of the reflected pulses and the power of reflection from first pulse widths of the reflected pulsed light beams, selects a distance calculating method in accordance with the state, and outputs distance measurement data of high reliability.

A recognition unit detects a relative position and relative speed of each objects lying around the subject vehicle. The recognition unit stores whether or not detection points data exists in each of M×N small regions into which X, Y coordinates are divided into a two dimensional array including a plurality of elements corresponding to the small regions. The recognition unit performs arithmetic operations of multiplication and summation of the respective elements of the two dimensional array while sequentially scanning a mask of a two dimensional array comprising J×K (J<N, K<M) elements, and determines attributes such as positions, sizes, etc. of the objects.
