The relay method and system include receiving, from the display apparatus, an acquisition request for the content information in the storage device, transmitting predetermined identification information to the display apparatus which is a transmission source of the acquisition request in response to receiving the acquisition request for the content information, and transferring, from the storage device to the display apparatus, the content information corresponding to the acquisition request from the display apparatus when the identification information transmitted to the display apparatus is acquired from an information processing apparatus other than the storage device and the display apparatus.

Abstract: As a result of a power saving technique for a portable dual terminal equipped with both WLAN unit and PHS unit, a call is usually relayed from an S-P gateway to a call receiver terminal via the PSTN, thereby incurring a call charge to the caller. According to the present invention, the call from the S-P gateway to the call receiver terminal (dual terminal) is terminated before a call charge is incurred, and the call receiver terminal calls back the S-P gateway via the IP network or the PSTN. The SIP server, instead of the call receiver terminal, identifies the caller terminal to call back, thereby connecting the call from the call receiver terminal to the caller terminal. In addition to this “callback method”, the present invention further provides “reconnection method”, “reconnection plus call-again method”, and “call-again method”, thus offering four types of methods.

Abstract: An information mediating apparatus has: a mediating condition file in which mediating condition list data describing specific mediating conditions has been stored; and a personal information file in which personal information peculiar to a person, a group, or the like has been stored. A mediation service processing unit reads out the mediating condition list data designated in response to a mediating request from the user from the mediating condition file, notifies a backend server in a service providing server group, collects and selects service information matched with the mediating condition list data, and displays it to the user. The terminal device transfers to a data acquisition device a data acquisition instruction including the acquired access ticket. The acquisition device transmits to the gateway device a data request including the key information. When the key information added to the access ticket and the key information included in the data request are the same, the gateway device transfers the data request to a data server device. The server device transfers the data to the acquisition device.

Abstract: A data transfer system including mobile terminals and gateways for transferring data from a secure network to an external network under remote control using the mobile terminals. A first gateway produces and sends a first key to a second gateway through first and second mobile terminals. The second gateway produces and sends a second key to the first gateway through the first and second mobile terminals. Then the first mobile terminal issues a data download command, which is forwarded from the second mobile terminal to the second gateway. In response to this data download command, the second gateway sends a file request including the first and second keys to the first gateway over a broadband channel.
