Abstract: A hand of an industrial robot that conveys a conveyance object includes: a mounting section constituting a portion of the hand on a second direction side and having the conveyance object disposed on an upper side; a hand base constituting a portion of the hand on a third direction side and having an end of the mounting section on the third direction side attached thereto; a first support member fixed to an upper surface of the mounting section and supporting a portion of the conveyance object on the second direction side from below; a second support member supporting a portion of the conveyance object on the third direction side from below; and a first moving mechanism moving the second support member in the first direction. The first supporting member is formed with first and second support surfaces, and the second support member is formed with third and fourth support surfaces.

Abstract: A toy fish drive causes one or more toy fish to swim in a natural fashion in a transparent aquarium (viewing tank). A magnetic drive is connected to the external side of the wall or bottom portion of the aquarium and is supported from the side. The drive has two opposite sets of magnets which are rotated to exert magnetic drive forces on a swimming toy fish in the tank, the toy fish containing a magnet and swimming at a selected sinking rate. By means of the attracting force of the magnet in the toy fish, and the action of the magnetic drive forces of the rotating magnets, multiple toy fish are made to swim separately and in different directions simultaneously.

Abstract: A marine display device include a liquid vessel containing one or more toy fish, each fish containing an air chamber to impart buoyancy to the fish and a magnetic member. A pair of spaced apart chambers project upwardly from the base of the vessel, and a rotatable magnetic field-producing member is disposed in each of said chambers, and is operatively connected to a rotatable shaft which is rotatably driven by a motor.

Abstract: A method is provided for making a magnetic toy fish. The method comprises conformally joining two premolded plastic half-shell sections containing a magnetic member and a counterweight, and applying sonar energy across the joints to permanently join the half-shell sections together and form the fish.

Abstract: A marine display is provided having a housing and a transparent vessel at least partially filled with liquid. A magnetic animated marine life such as a toy fish is freely suspended in the liquid and at least one rotating magnet in the housing generate magnetic fields which co-act with the magnetic toy fish to cause the fish to move in all directions to simulate the swimming action of a natural fish in a liquid habitat. A background plate in the housing behind the liquid vessel imparts aesthetic marine-like appearance to the display.

Abstract: A toy block constructed into one block with a plurality of members and having a front elevational face embossed by a symbol such as one letter of the alphabet, the block having a body member with pivotable shoulder and leg members, and a telescopically mounted head member. The shoulder members house a pair of extendible arm members with integrally formed hands. The block may be transformed into a humanoid figure such as a robot by manipulating the various members by hand.
