  • Publication number: 20100097203
Abstract: A wireless tire pressure monitor system has multiple pressure sensors and at least one receiving module. The pressure sensors detect tire pressures and transmit wireless signals representing the tire pressure. The at least one receiving module is mounted on a chassis of a vehicle at a geometric center of the pressure sensors and has an annular antenna. The annular antenna receives wireless signals from the pressure sensors equally. Therefore, because distances between the receiving module and the pressure sensors are the same and the annular antenna has good receiving characteristics, the wireless tire pressure monitor system has a high hit ratio for receiving wireless signals.

  • Patent number: 7127021
Abstract: A mechanism for dealing with faster clock speeds by increasing the pulse width of the pump-up and pump-down pulses of a Hogge-type phase detector without dividing the clock. In particular, the NRZ data stream is divided into two, interleaved data streams which are provided through two series of flip-flops. By connecting the exclusive-OR gates separately to the two series of flip-flops to generate the pump-up and pump-down pulses, a longer time between transitions can be achieved by having alternate transitions (up and down) used by the two different series of flip-flops. In addition, delay circuits are provided to compensate for the clock-to-data output delay of the flip-flops.

  • Publication number: 20050237166
Abstract: A vehicle anti-thief device includes an on-vehicle main unit, an on-vehicle bluetooth module, and a bluetooth mobile terminal to be carried by the user. When the user leaved the car, the on-vehicle bluetooth module receives no signal from the bluetooth mobile terminal and then drives the on-vehicle main unit into alarm mode. When the user with the bluetooth mobile terminal entered the communication radius of the bluetooth module, the bluetooth mobile terminal connects the on-vehicle bluetooth module wirelessly and gives a disarm signal to disarm alarm setting of the on-vehicle main unit.

  • Patent number: 6744292
Abstract: A charge pump circuit with a small loop filter capacitor is disclosed in the invention. This is accomplished by providing multiple currents which add to the desired current, I. A switching circuit switches one of the currents through the capacitor, while directing a combination of the multiple currents through the resistors. In this way, a smaller current is provided through the capacitor, allowing the capacitor to be much smaller in size.

  • Patent number: 6680605
Abstract: A current mirror circuit that uses only a single seed current, and thus only a single current source. A transistor biasing circuit is connected in between the single current source and the two transistors of the first leg of the current mirror. The transistor biasing circuit provides two functions. First, the source current itself flows through the transistors of the transistor biasing circuit to the two transistors forming the first leg of the current mirror. Second, the transistor biasing circuit biases the gates of the transistors in the current mirror so that the output transistors are at the onset of saturation.

  • Publication number: 20020000853
Abstract: An integrated delay locked loop circuit (10) and method are presented. The circuit (10′) includes a source of multiple clock signals (24), each of different relative phase. A plurality of clock selection multiplexers (30-33) are connected to receive the multiple clock signals (16). A control circuit (66) is connected to control each of the plurality of clock selection multiplexers (30-33) to pass a respective selected one of the multiple clock signals (16) to a clock selection output (43-46). If one of the clock selection multiplexers (30-33) is selected to pass a particular one of the clock signals (16) to its clock selection output (43-46), the other clock selection multiplexers are prevented from passing the particular one of the clock signals to their respective clock selection outputs. A plurality of output multiplexers (60-63) are connected to receive outputs from he clock selection multiplexers (30-33).

  • Patent number: 6326915
Abstract: A radar device for use in backing up a vehicle is disclosed herein. A plurality of wave sensors is installed on a rear portion of a vehicle for detecting an obstacle therebehind. A master controller has a plurality of transceiver circuits and a microprocessor connected to the plurality of transceiver circuits. Each transceiver circuit corresponds to one of the plurality of wave sensors. The microprocessor activates the plurality of transceiver circuits to drive the plurality of wave sensors for transmitting and receiving ultrasound wave signals thereby determining the location of the obstacle. A location display device is connected to the master controller for receiving and decoding data related to the location of the obstacle thereby indicating the direction of the obstacle and displaying in numerical form the distance between the obstacle and the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6094131
Abstract: A keyless lock device is disclosed, which has a master control unit installed in a car and a remote controller carried by a user. The master control unit has a processing unit connected to a centralized locking control unit of the car to lock and unlock the door of the car. A detection switch is installed in the door handle of the driver-side door of the car. The processing unit is connected to the detection switch to detect when the door handle is pulled. The master control unit transmits an acknowledgement signal when the door handle is pulled. The remote controller receives the acknowledgement signal and generates a re-acknowledgement signal encoded with a specific encrypted code for transmission. The re-acknowledge signal is then received by the master control unit to be recognized.

  • Patent number: 5731723
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for half symbol delay calibration for phase window centering. To perform calibration of phase window centering, a carefully designed input signal is applied to the data signal input of a phase detector and a corresponding gating signal is applied to each of two D flip-flops. A calibration circuit produces the gating signal to enable the D flip-flops and the complement of the gating signal to temporarily prevent disturbance of a charge pump. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the calibration circuit provides a divide-by-4 clock function. The carefully designed input signal used for calibration includes on-time pulses and time-shifted pulses. The on-time pulses have rising edges that rise with the rising edges of the VCO clock signal. The time-shifted pulses follow the on-time pulses by 2.5 clock cycles of the VCO clock signal.
