  • Publication number: 20200117913
Abstract: There are provided an object recognition apparatus that raises the recognition accuracy for a surrounding object and a vehicle control apparatus, and an object recognition method and a vehicle control method. An object recognition apparatus receives object data, which is a state value of the object, from a first sensor for detecting a surrounding object; compares estimation data obtained through estimation of a state value of the object, based on recognition data calculated in a past period, with the object data, and determines whether or not the object data is data in a low-resolution state; then, in accordance with the determination result, calculates the state value of the object by use of object data and estimation data and then generates the state value as recognition data, so that the recognition accuracy for an object is raised.

  • Publication number: 20200063620
Abstract: An air cleaner includes: an air cleaner box defining a clean chamber that is placed rearward of a dirty chamber, the clean chamber receiving air which has been introduced from front into the dirty chamber and then filtered through an air cleaner element; and funnels that are to be connected to an intake port of an internal combustion engine, the funnels protruding upward into a space within the air cleaner box from a bottom wall of the air cleaner box. The air cleaner further includes a breather chamber into which blow-by gas is introduced from the internal combustion engine, the breather chamber being placed rearward of the funnels and between the funnels and a rear wall of the air cleaner box. Accordingly, the air cleaner can further promote the air-liquid separation of blow-by gas without incurring an increase in weight of the internal combustion engine.

  • Publication number: 20200063654
Abstract: An engine includes: a cylinder head that forms an intake port connected to a combustion chamber; a throttle body that is joined to the intake port and adjusts a degree of an opening of an intake passage by rotating a throttle vale around a rotation axis of a valve shaft, the throttle vale being fixed to the valve shaft; and a case that stores a drive member and supports a drive motor, the drive member being fixed to the valve shaft, the drive motor generating a drive force that is transmitted to the drive member. The case overlaps with the intake port as seen in a side view. Accordingly, in the engine, it is possible to reduce the volume of the intake passage between the throttle valve and the combustion chamber.

  • Patent number: 10544518
Abstract: Chamber components for an epitaxial growth apparatus are disclosed. A reaction chamber defined and formed by a ceiling plate. A reactant gas is rectified in a reactant gas supply path disposed in the side wall, so that a horizontal component in a flow direction of the reactant gas in the reaction chamber corresponds to a horizontal component in a direction extending from the center of an opening of the reactant gas supply path. Improvements to the upper side wall, susceptor and rectification plate of the epitaxial growth apparatus have resulted in improvements to the uniformity and formation speed of the epitaxial layer formed on substrates resulting in higher throughput and lower defects.

  • Patent number: 10473883
Abstract: There are provided a variable magnification optical system and a control method thereof which are capable of relatively accurately adjusting a positional relationship between a variable magnification optical device and an imaging surface of an imaging device according to a zoom amount. A zoom lens included in the variable magnification optical device is positioned at a telephoto end and a wide angle end, and shift amounts ?S1 and ?S2, tilt angles ?1 and ?2, rotation angles ?1 and ?2, and focusing adjustment amounts ?1 and ?2 of the variable magnification optical device are set by a user and are stored. In a case where a zoom amount of the zoom lens is set to a desired value by the user, a shift amount corresponding to the set zoom amount is calculated by using the stored shift amounts ?S1 and ?S2. The positional relationship between the variable magnification optical device and the imaging surface of the imaging device is adjusted so as to have the calculated shift amount.
