  • Patent number: 7357264
Abstract: In energy absorbing structures in an entire train, a compression amount at an interface between cars at an end portion of a train is reduced and compression at an interface between cars at a center portion of the train is facilitated. In the structure, a plurality of cars (A1 to A12) are coupled to one another through couplers (B1 to B11), and energy absorbing structures (S12 to S42, S82 to S122) are provided between cars. An average compressive load corresponding to a value obtained by dividing an energy absorption amount of the energy absorbing structure by a maximum compression amount of the energy absorbing structures (S12 to S42, S82 to S122) is set smaller at an interface between cars at a center portion of the train than at an interface between cars on an outer side of the train (closer to an end portion).

  • Publication number: 20070262472
Abstract: A high withstand voltage semiconductor chip mounted on a package or a board is covered with a sealing resin, and the resin is cured while a high voltage is applied between at least one of electrode terminals connected from a chip electrode or the chip via wiring of wires or the like and another electrode that necessitates a dielectric withstand voltage between the electrode and the electrode terminal during the curing. The sealing resin is provided by a synthetic high molecular compound structured in a manner that an organic silicon polymer C is constituted by alternately linearly linking an organic silicon polymer A having a crosslinking structure of siloxane with an organic silicon polymer B having a linear link structure of siloxane (Si—O—Si bond) by siloxane bond and the polymers are three-dimensionally linked together by covalent bond.

  • Publication number: 20070246651
Abstract: The present invention provides a charged particle beam apparatus capable of preventing the charging-up of the specimen without using a large-scale facility. A scanning electron microscope 100 illuminates a specimen 21 with a charged particle beam via a charged particle optical system arranged in a column. According to the present invention, the scanning electron microscope 100 has a charge preventive member 110 disposed between the objective lens 14 and the specimen 21. The charge preventive member 110 has an electrically conductive portion and an opening 113 to transmit the charged particle beam. The charge preventive member 110 is formed so as to partly cover the charged particle optical system when viewed from the charged particle beam irradiation spot on the specimen. In addition, the charge preventive member 110 has gas inflow paths 114 and 115 formed therein. These gas inflow paths have gas injection outlets 116 formed to inject gas toward the charged particle beam irradiation spot on the specimen.

  • Patent number: 5805548
Abstract: An information reading apparatus has a feature that, when a disc on which data is recorded by a CLV system is read out by a CAV system, a transfer rate is changed in accordance with an amount of data recorded on the disc and the data can be efficiently read out in a short time. In an information reading apparatus arranged such that data read by rotating at a constant angular velocity a disk-shaped recording medium on which data is recorded at a constant linear velocity is transmitted to an external apparatus through a buffer memory, there is provided a setting unit for setting a rotational angular velocity of the disk-shaped recording medium in a manner such that a transfer rate when the information read at a predetermined radial position excluding the outermost peripheral portion in the information recording region of the disk-shaped recording medium is transferred to the buffer memory is equal to the maximum sustain transfer rate at which the information reading apparatus can perform the reading operation.
