    Abstract: A silicon gyroscope comprises a vibrator 1 which is made from a silicon wafer and has three elastic arms 2 separated by two notches, with part of the root section of vibrator which supports the elastic arms being fixed to a base plate 3, horizontal electrodes 4 which are laid between the elastic arms and on the outer sides of the elastic arms by being orthogonal to the plane of layout of the elastic arms and close to the elastic arms, and vertical electrodes 5 which are laid in correspondence to the elastic arms by being parallel to the arm layout plane and close to the elastic arms. The silicon gyroscope which is driven in innovative manner is capable of stably detecting the angular velocity.

    Abstract: In a wiper device for openable window glass, a pivot shaft having a wiper arm and blade assembly is rotatably held by the window glass. An actuator is fixed to the vehicle body for driving the pivot shaft and is engageable and disengageable with the pivot shaft so as to transmit and interrupt the driving force of the actuator to the pivot shaft. A controller is connected in circuit with the actuator for controlling an operation of the actuator. A switch element is connected in circuit with the controller for generating a first signal when the window glass is opened and a second signal when the window glass is closed. With the wiper device mentioned above, the controller controls the actuator in such a manner that driving the pivot shaft is stopped immediately upon receiving the first signal and is started with a certain time delay after receiving the second signal.

    Abstract: A sealed bag for microwave heating composed of a film having a fusing layer inside, said bag being sealed by fusing both sides of said film longitudinally with each other and both ends thereof laterally, wherein both sides of the film are turned outside to form two rows or turned-up faces, a turned-up line formed by said two rows of turned-up faces is covered with an easily openable fusing tape having an easily openable film inside and reinforced with a base material outside, said tape being fused with the turned-up faces of the film, and at least one end of the fusing tape not fused by a length which can be taken with fingers is left as a pick-up flap in the laterally fused area. When cooked food for a few people is hermetically packaged in this sealed bag and heated with a microwave oven, the bag is not broken until the internal temperature thereof approaches 100.degree. C.

    Abstract: A switch device used for a laser device, includes series-parallel connected switch elements or modules. The switch elements or modules are simultaneously turned on by trigger signals from trigger circuits. The transmission lines for connecting the trigger circuits to respective switch elements are equal to one another in length. A protecting circuit is provided for the switch elements, and indicators are provided for indicating the shortcircuit of the switch elements. In the switch device, the number of wires for the switch elements is made small and heat generated from the switch elements is effectively radiated. The modules are easily stacked, and firmly connected to a control unit for controlling the switch elements. A discharge excited laser device using the switch device has a high efficiency and a long lifetime and is reliable.
