Patent number: 9645969Abstract: An information system for automotive includes a plurality of on-vehicle devices each installed in a vehicle and a server device connected with the on-vehicle devices via a communication network. The plurality of on-vehicle devices each include an acceleration/deceleration change detection unit that detects an acceleration/deceleration change of the vehicle equipped with the on-vehicle device and a transmission unit that transmits acceleration/deceleration information pertaining to the detected acceleration/deceleration change. The server device includes a reception unit that receives the acceleration/deceleration information, a statistical parameter calculating unit that calculates statistical parameters to be used to estimate an extent of energy consumption or energy regeneration based upon the received acceleration/deceleration information, and an estimating unit for estimating the extent of energy consumption or energy regeneration based upon the calculated statistical parameters.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2012Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Assignee: Clarion Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shinya Tagawa, Keisuke Mutou, Mika Sugimoto

Publication number: 20160203377Abstract: When a vehicle starts, a surrounding state is securely provided to a driver. When a vehicle operation detector detects that there is a possibility that a parked vehicle starts, a vehicle surrounding state recognizer recognizes a state of surrounding of the vehicle based on images imaged by a plurality of cameras imaging a plurality of different areas of the surrounding of the vehicle. A parking style determiner determines a parking style executed in parking at a position where the vehicle now parks based on a recognition result of the vehicle surrounding state recognizer. A monitoring area setter sets a monitoring area where a driver is required to pay attention when the vehicle is started based on a determination result of the parking style determiner. A vehicle surrounding state provider provides a driver with information provision in the monitoring area.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 16, 2014Publication date: July 14, 2016Applicant: Clarion Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kota Irie, Daisuke Fukuda, Kenji Kato, Shinya Tagawa

Patent number: 5816127Abstract: A continuous cutter for severing pieces of equal length from a coiled elongate article "T" includes a movable stand which carries a shiftable clamp. The cutter also includes a fixed clamp. The shiftable and fixed clamps are driven relatively to one another to clamp or unclamp the article "T" fed from an uncoiler and to advance it in an intermittent manner for the production of flat tubes used to construct a heat exchanger. For this purpose, a cutter blade on the movable stand severs the elongate article into lengths during the forward advance of the stand, in such a manner that the lengths are cut accurately, efficiently and at a reduced production cost. A stretcher may be added to the cutter in order to impart a the moving article "T".Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 1993Date of Patent: October 6, 1998Assignee: Showa Aluminum CorporationInventors: Wataru Ouchi, Taizo Morita, Shinya Tagawa
