Abstract: An RFID system of the present invention has a plurality of antennas for reading data from an RFID tag; an antenna configuration storage unit for prestoring a position of each of the plurality of antennas; a position detection unit for detecting a position of the RFID tag; and an antenna control unit for selecting one or more of the antennas that read the RFID tag, based on the position of the RFID tag detected by the position detection unit and on the position of each of the plurality of antennas stored in the antenna configuration storage unit, and for preferentially activating the selected one or more of the antennas.

Abstract: An electronic commerce system and an electronic commerce method for conducting electronic commerce making good use of characteristics of a mobile terminal. A mobile terminal provides authorization for a mobile commerce agent (MCA) to conduct electronic commerce for the terminal and notifies the MCA of information on the authorization. A commerce server notifies the MCA of information as to procedures for the electronic commerce. The MCA, at which the line of the mobile terminal may terminate, stores the electronic commerce procedure information received from the commerce server and the authorization information received from the mobile terminal. In response to a request from the mobile terminal, the MCA carries out the procedures for the electronic commerce which the MCA has the authorization to conduct according to the authorization information received from the mobile terminal based on the electronic commerce procedure information.

A method for loading an application program in a smart card comprises the steps of: in response to a request for loading one application program for a smart card in the smart card that has been reissued based on an old smart card, judging whether or not said one application program was loaded in the old smart card, according to a relationship between a card id of the reissued smart card and a card id of the old smart card; and if it is found out that said one application program was loaded, loading said one application program in the reissued smart card.

Abstract: A pillow provided with a power unit for rotating its top surface about a horizontal center line of rotation into a new angular position whenever a snoring noise is detected. The angular position of the head of the sleeping person is thereby changed gradually enough not to wake him up but since his larynx is changed into a new state every time the top surface of the pillow is rotated into a new angular position the snoring noise is eventually controlled. Reliable detection of snoring noise is made possible by taking advantage of the periodic nature of the snoring noise.
