  • Publication number: 20050055466
Abstract: An equipment and an automatic network provisioning section. The equipment is configured to connect a terminal on a first network with a second network through a communication circuit based on a current parameter data. The automatic network provisioning section is connected with the equipment and acquires an equipment data containing an actual parameter data from the equipment in response to an acquisition instruction and dynamically sets a new parameter data to the equipment based on the actual parameter data.

  • Patent number: 6490255
Abstract: In order to make an extension/deletion of management function possible without interruption of a system operation and make a conversion between a plurality of management protocols possible in a network communication system for use and maintenance of a communication network, a managed object obtained by abstracting a physical subject such as a communication device or a communication service to be managed transfers from a management manager or an object server storing a plurality of managed objects on the basis of an instruction from the management manager performing a management operation and the transferred managed object is executed.

  • Patent number: 6105061
Abstract: A management system comprises a central management station and a plurality of remote management stations coupled to nodes of a communications network which interconnects the nodes using OSI protocols. The central management station comprises a first memory for storing attributes of managed objects which are supervised by the central management station. A central station controller is responsive to a request and accesses its memory if the request is concerned with the attributes stored therein or transmits a request to one of the remote stations If the request is not concerned with the stored attributes. Each remote management station comprises a memory for storing attributes of managed objects supervised by the remote management station.

  • Patent number: 6081212
Abstract: In a message decoder (1) including a message decoding section (102) which is supplied with an encoded message given by encoding, according to the Basic Encoding Rule, an objective message defined by an abstract syntax description described in accordance with the Abstract Syntax Notation and which decodes the encoded message into a decoded message corresponding to the objective message, the message decoder further includes a finite state machine generator (2). Alternatively, the message decoder is for use in combination with the finite state machine generator. The finite state machine generator includes a parse tree generating section supplied with the abstract syntax description for generating a parse tree corresponding to the abstract syntax description and a finite state machine generating section for generating a finite state machine (105) on the basis of the parse tree.

  • Patent number: 5831618
Abstract: Hierarchically layered tables are stored in a mass memory. Each table has entries containing a symbol of a telecommunication network item, location data of the symbol to be displayed in a display unit, and an identifier specifying a lower-layer table. A pointing device is used for selecting an symbol being displayed corresponding to a symbol of an upper layer table. A relocation processor is responsive to a keyboard command for detecting a given entry of the upper layer table that contains the selected symbol, reading information from all entries of a lower layer table specified by the given entry of the upper-layer table, securing a space around the selected symbol using the location data of the read information, and storing it into that entry of the upper layer table. A display processor displays, in the second space, multiple symbols stored in the given entry of the upper layer table.

  • Patent number: 5812111
Abstract: In a Bifocal display which is composed of magnified and de-magnified sections of an original picture. The Bifocal display displays a focused section which is magnified for detailed information with the remaining sections of the original picture for outline recognition at the same time in a figure, means for selecting a desired detailed image among several specialized detailed images, means for selecting suitable magnification coefficient for the focused section, means for superimposing another semi-transparent image on a displaying Bifocal figure, or means for modifying displaying colors in an instance are materialized to offer a better human-computer interface for a network monitoring display, for example.
