Abstract: A cavity insert device comprising an insert section capable of being inserted into tracts and cavities, a detection circuit for detecting conditions of components making up the device, such as an observation device formed at the distal end side of the insert section, and a fuzzy inference section for synthetically determining a plurality of information signals outputted from the detection circuit and producing control signals to control the components. The fuzzy inference section employs inference rules which are empirically considered to be desirable, and control is made by the control signals obtained with the fuzzy inference. The device is thus operated in a nearly optimum state.

Abstract: An endoscope image filing apparatus wherein endoscope image information and search information required to search this image information are recorded in the same medium by a recording apparatus, on the other hand, medium discriminating information is imparted to this medium by an imparting apparatus and the search information and medium discriminating information are memorized in a controlling apparatus so that, in case there are many recording media, when the search information is input into the controlling apparatus, the medium discriminating information of the medium in which the search information is recorded may be obtained.

Abstract: In the endoscope light source apparatus of this invention, the position within a body cavity of an endoscope tip part can be confirmed with a body outside transmitted light and there are provided an illuminating light feeding apparatus for generating an illuminating light to be fed to the endoscope and a light amount increasing apparatus for increasing for a set time the light amount of the illuminating light generated by the illuminating light feeding apparatus when a body outside light observing signal confirming from outside the body the position within the body cavity of the endoscope tip part is input.
