  • Patent number: 10707715
Abstract: A motor-driven compressor includes a cluster block, which accommodates a connecting terminal. The connecting terminal connects an electric motor to a motor driving circuit. A second insulator includes a tubular base, extended portions, which extend from the base, and insulator flanges. Each insulator flange is located on an opposite end of each extended portion from the base. The cluster block is fastened to some of the insulator flanges on the opposite side of the insulator flanges from the extended portions. The cluster block includes a second wall, which faces some of the insulator flanges. The second wall includes engagement pieces, which project in the radial direction of the rotary shaft. The engagement pieces are each fitted to an opening portion, which is a gap between the insulator flanges that are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft.

  • Patent number: 10164495
Abstract: A motor-driven fluid machine has three motor wires. The innermost one of the three motor wires in the radial direction of a rotary shaft on a specific section of an outer end portion of a coil end is defined as a first motor wire. The first motor wire has a first extension, which extends from an inner side toward an outer side in the radial direction of the rotary shaft at a position between the specific section and a downstream side in the extending direction of the motor wires, and a second extension, which is continuous from the first extension and extends from the outer side toward the inner side in the radial direction of the rotary shaft to be connected to a corresponding conductive member.

  • Patent number: 9212661
Abstract: An electric compressor includes a housing, an electric motor, a compression mechanism, and a resin molding. The electric motor includes a coil having coil ends projecting from each of two end surfaces of the stator. Refrigerant flows through the housing that accommodates the electric motor. The resin molding covers each coil end and includes an opening that exposes part of the coil end to the interior of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20140175930
Abstract: A permanent magnet embedded type rotating electrical machine includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor includes a rotor core formed by a plurality of stacked and laminated magnetic steel plates and permanent magnets. Each magnetic steel plate has a plurality of magnet holes, connecting portions and sectional areas. The sectional area is surrounded by lines extending between the opposite ends of the magnet hole and between a rotation center of the rotor and the respective ends of the magnet hole. The connecting portion is provided only inside of the sectional area and is a joining portion at which any two adjacent magnetic steel plates are joined or a fastening hole in which a fastening member is inserted. The connecting portions include both the joining portion and the fastening hole. The connecting portion provided in the sectional area is at least one of the joining portion and the fastening hole.

  • Publication number: 20080246364
Abstract: A phase insulator for a stator of a motor insulates between stator coils. The stator has plural stator coils inserted in slots in a stator core. The phase insulator insulates stator coils from each other. The phase insulator includes insulating sheet portions and bridge portions. The insulating sheet portions are disposed at both end portions of the stator core for insulating between the coil ends of the stator coils. The insulating sheet portions are made of a first material. The bridge portions connect the insulating sheet portions. The bridge portions are inserted in the slots of the stator core. The bridge portions are made of a second material. The second material has higher elastic characteristics than the first material.
