    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first kind of synchronization signals from a first synchronization source and may receive a second kind of synchronization signals from a second synchronization source. Additionally, the UE may determine a first priority for the first synchronization source and a second priority for the second synchronization source based on whether each synchronization source is connected to a global navigation satellite system from information in the synchronization signals. Accordingly, the UE may then select the synchronization source with the higher priority and communicate with one or more additional UEs based on synchronizing with the selected synchronization source. In some cases, the first kind of synchronization signals may include sidelink synchronization signals, and the second kind of synchronization signals may include data-based synchronization signals (e.g., demodulation reference signals).

The operating mode may be a full duplex (FD) operating mode or a half duplex (HD) operating mode. A UE operating in the zone may receive, from the base station, an indication of the default operating mode corresponding to the zone, and may select an operating mode based on the indication. The mode selected by the UE may be the same as or different than the indicated default operating mode.     Abstract: In one aspect, resource selection may be performed where single frequency full-duplex (SFFD) UEs are present in a V2X system. Signaling and procedures may enable the coexistence of half-duplex (HD) and SFFD-capable UEs. Based on the resource reservation information obtained from other UEs, the SFFD UE may determine which among the reserved time-frequency resources is amenable for performing the SFFD operation. In one aspect, the time-frequency resources chosen for SFFD may partially or fully overlap with the reserved time-frequency resources, based on the self-interference cancellation capability of the SFFD UE, the RSRP, and/or the RSSI on the reserved time-frequency resources. Accordingly, the full-duplex capability of an SFFD-capable UE may be leveraged, and spectral efficiency improved.

In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a set of feedback channel occasions corresponding to a first sidelink data channel in a first listen-before-talk (LBT) sub-band, the set of feedback channel occasions located over multiple LBT sub-bands of an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. The UE may receive a data transmission over the first sidelink data channel and may determine to transmit feedback associated with the data transmission. The UE, based on the configuration of the set of feedback channel occasions, may perform LBT for each of the set of feedback channel occasions to determine which of the set of feedback channel occasions are available to the UE for transmitting the feedback associated with the data transmission. In some aspects, a user equipment may generate a pseudorandom noise (PN) sequence, modulate the PN sequence based at least in part on a modulation order parameter, and transmit the PN sequence in one or more symbols prior to transmitting sidelink data. The one or more symbols used to transmit the PN sequence may be used for automatic gain control (AGC) training at a receiving device. The user equipment may then transmit the sidelink data in a plurality of symbols that are subsequent in time relative to the one or more symbols used to transmit the PN sequence, and the receiving device may process the sidelink data based on the AGC training.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may support superimposed NR and LTE transmissions using an antenna port, in conjunction with an LTE-aware, NR slot structure (e.g., an NR V2X slot structure). In some aspects, the slot structure may protect portions of the LTE signal from interference, increasing LTE decoder robustness to interference which may provide opportunities for increasing the NR signal power. The UE may transmit a superimposed transmission of an LTE signal and an NR signal from a same antenna port in a same radio frequency resource. In some aspects, the slot structure may be modified so that the UE does not transmit when LTE reference signals are transmitted, so as to avoid interference with the LTE reference signals. A receiving UE may use the LTE reference signals to demodulate the LTE signal and the NR signal from the common time and frequency resources.
