The discharge-valve mechanism opens and closes the discharge port. The discharge-valve mechanism includes: a valve seat attached to the compressing mechanism and having a valve-seat hole communicating with the discharge port; and a reed valve having a fixed end attached to the compressing mechanism and a distal end as a free end. The reed valve closes the valve seat when the reed valve is located on the valve seat. The valve seat is formed of material having a longitudinal elastic modulus lower than a longitudinal elastic modulus of the compressing mechanism.
