Publication number: 20010005454Abstract: The information terminal body may be designed to foldably pivot a pair of flat cases each having a display unit through a hinge which is equipped with a photographing optical system for the camera function unit of which optical axis of lens is perpendicular to an axial center of the hinge. The display units display information from communication channels and images taken in by the camera. The cases may have the display units such that the display units face outside in a folded state. At least one of the two display units may be a finder for photographers, while the other may be a finder for the subject persons. The terminal is equipped with a shutter button and a terminal operation button. The terminal operation button works also as a shutter button. The information terminal is also equipped with a viewfinder for the camera lens system.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2000Publication date: June 28, 2001Applicant: NEC CORPORATIONInventors: Masaaki Nishino, Masakatsu Takizawa, Norihisa Mitsuyu, Shuji Yamaguchi, Satoshi Machida

Patent number: 6136183Abstract: A relief valve for an oil filter device integrally formed with a check valve has an annular shape, and has a front end portion, a guiding portion, a sealing portion, a recess portion, and a groove portion. The relief valve is attached to a protector only by inserting a cylindrical protector end portion into the groove portion thereof. At this time, the recess portion is elastically deformed so that the sealing portion moves inwardly, while the sealing portion is elastically compressed by the protector end portion. As a result, the relief valve closes an oil flow passage defined in a wall of the protector end portion only by an elastic deformation stress thereof. The relief valve can be readily molded and attached to the oil filter device and stably provide desired valve opening characteristics.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 1998Date of Patent: October 24, 2000Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Yasuyoshi Suzuki, Keizo Funae, Shuji Yamaguchi, Kouichi Tomitaka

Patent number: 6070740Abstract: A protector for holding a filter medium thereon is made of resin and composed of a plurality of pillar members. The pillar members are disposed in parallel with each other in a longitudinal direction thereof and forming a circular shape with intervals respectively between adjacent two pillar members. Accordingly, the protector can be easily manufactured by molding and can be easily scrapped after its use. The protector further has a positioning member for positioning the protector in a case. Accordingly, a number of parts in a filter device can be reduced, resulting in a decrease in man-hours for assembling the parts.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 1998Date of Patent: June 6, 2000Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Yoshihisa Sanami, Toshihiro Takahara, Shuji Yamaguchi

Patent number: 5670952Abstract: A data transmission unit for transmitting data stored in a movable terminal unit to an upper unit when the movable terminal unit is connected to the data transmission unit, includes a coupler for directly coupling the unit to a front or a rear stage data transmission unit without using a connecting cable. The coupler includes data pins for passing data from the movable terminal unit or the front stage data transmission unit to the rear stage data transmission unit or the upper unit, saving the space between adjacent units.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 1995Date of Patent: September 23, 1997Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Shinji Yamamoto, Hideyuki Tayama, Shuji Yamaguchi

Patent number: 5343136Abstract: A cordless telephone system in which a battery of a mobile unit can be charged with use of a cordless charger. The charger, which is provided separately from a base unit, has a chargeable battery which is larger in current capacity than the battery within the mobile unit. When the mobile unit is mounted on the charger, the battery of the mobile unit is charged with the battery of the charger. So long as the charge level of the battery within the charger is sufficiently high, the battery of the mobile unit is charged with the battery of the charger and without use of a commercial AC power source.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 1991Date of Patent: August 30, 1994Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Shuji Yamaguchi, Koichi Ito

Patent number: 5049326Abstract: A filter element which is improved in filter performance and suitable for use in various types of filters, and a manufacturing method thereof. In the filter element, a multiplicity of tubes each formed of a filtering material and having a substantially circular shape in cross-section are arranged side by side into a tubular assembly with the axes of the tubes lying parallel to one another; inter-tube openings are closed at one end of the tubular assembly which end serves as the inlet side for a fluid to be filtered, whereas intra-tube openings are closed on the opposite end of the tubular assembly; and the total cross-sectional area of all the inter-tube openings is set smaller than the total cross-sectional area of all the intra-tube openings, but larger than the minimum cross-sectional area of a path through which the fluid is supplied to the tubular assembly.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 1990Date of Patent: September 17, 1991Assignee: Nippondenso Co., Ltd.Inventors: Noriya Matsumoto, Hajime Akado, Yoshihiko Oya, Yoshihiro Taki, Shuji Yamaguchi

Patent number: 5027296Abstract: A length-measuring apparatus is provided with memory for storing scale reduction data of a map and for storing unit data of length. Actual distance is calculated by calculation circuit when a rotating member is moved to roll along a point-to-point course on the map. Distance data expressed in unit corresponding to the above unit data of length is obtained. A plurality of distance data obtained by the above calculation circuit can be stored in memory together with the unit data of length and also can be displayed on display by operation of the display switch.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 1989Date of Patent: June 25, 1991Assignee: Casio Computer Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shuji Yamaguchi, Atsuko Shimizu
