    Abstract: A lockable slider for a slide fastener includes a locking key composed of a lock bar, a grip lever provided at one end thereof so as to extend radially outwardly therefrom and a locking prong provided at an intermediate position thereof so as to extend radially outwardly therefrom and substantially normally to the grip lever. The locking key is disposed within the C-shaped wall and between the confronting walls both provided on the upper surface of the upper wing of the slider. The locking key is rotatable on its own axis between a first position in which to bring the locking prong through the aperture into the guide channel and a second position in which to retract the locking prong through the aperture from the guide channel.

    Abstract: A hanger device for hanging a curtain to a curtain rod via a curtain runner reciprocally mounted on the curtain rod. The hanger device comprises a hanger body attached to the curtain and a hook portion pivotally mounted on the hanger body and adapted for hooking engagement with a curtain runner. When the hook portion is angularly moved to an inclined position, the hook portion is locked to the hanger body against unnecessary oscillation, so that the hook portion is quite immune from be entangled with the curtain during laundering of the curtain.

The ornamental plate has a plug portion to be inserted into the hollow portion of the main plate, the plug portion having a locking claw to be resiliently locked with the locking hole.     Abstract: A method of making a slider for use in a slide fastener, which slider is provided with bearings for a pull tab on an upper surface of a slider body on its opposite side to pivotably hold a pintle of the pull tab. By making use of only one slide core, a slider body mold cavity in a mold is blocked from a pull tab mold cavity and at the same time, hollow space portions in the bearings for the pull tab are formed by means of the slide core. After molding the slider body, by retreating this slide core, the hollow space portions in the already molded pull tab bearings are used as a mold portion for a pintle of the pull tab. By injecting an amount of molten synthetic resin having a larger thermal contraction coefficient than the synthetic resin used previously for molding the slider body, into the pull tab mold cavity, the pintle of the pull tab and the pull tab are integrally molded.

    Abstract: A clamping mechanism mounted on a punch/die holder includes a pair of punch arms angularly movably supported on the punch/die holder and a die fixed to the punch/die holder and disposed between the punch arms for supporting U-shaped top end stops between the die and lower ends of the punch arms. The punch arms are angularly moved to cause the lower ends thereof to clinch the top end stops respectively about the beaded marginal edges of slide fastener stringer tapes at one of element-free spaces adjacent to ends of two rows of coupling elements. The die and the lower ends of the punch arms have slanted surfaces for smoothly guiding the beaded marginal edges into the top end stops between the die and the punch arms. The beaded marginal edges of the stringer tapes at the element-free space are separately directed toward the top end stops supported between the die and the lower ends of the punch arms.
