Abstract: The invention relates to a toothbrush having a head area comprising cleaning elements, a grip area, and a neck area, which connects the head and the grip areas to each other, wherein the toothbrush is configured having a first component made of plastic, and at least one further second component made of plastic, wherein the first component has a relief structure that is covered by the second component. The relief structure comprises high regions having the shortest distance to the outer surface of the second component, and low regions having the greatest distance to the outer surface of the second component, and the relief structure has intermediate regions adjacent to the high and low regions, the distance to the outer surface of the second component of the intermediate regions being between that of the high and low regions.

Abstract: An oral hygiene device includes a handle, a head coupled to the handle, a substantially planar base disposed on the head, and a plurality of cleaning elements projecting from the base. The plurality of cleaning elements are characterized by at least two different geometries, and at least some of the plurality of cleaning elements are generally oblong cleaning bars. Adjacent cleaning elements define at least one channel that extends in a direction generally transverse to a longitudinal direction of at least some of the oblong cleaning bars.

Abstract: To achieve great security against failure in lamps for medical applications, especially lamps for surgery, two electric bulbs are placed each in a concave mirror of ellipsoidal shape as part of a reflector, the two concave mirrors having focal points which are aligned with one another along an optical axis. The concave mirror provided to serve as the main lamp is configured as a ring reflector, while the concave mirror designed to operate as a reserve lamp closes off the reflector on the side facing away from the direction of emergence of the light. Thus, in the event of a change from main lamp operation to reserve lamp operation, the illuminated field is maintained at least approximately in its size and the location does not change (X and Y directions).
