  • Publication number: 20230259358
Abstract: Disclosed are approaches for enforcing requirements that documentation be up to date. In response to initiation of a build process for an application, a source-code file associated with the application is evaluated to determine an identifier and a location for a corresponding documentation file. A determination can be made regarding whether the documentation file exists at the location. Another determination can be made regarding whether each function specified in the source-code file has a corresponding entry in the documentation file. The build process can be halted in response to determining that at least one function specified in the source-code file fails to have the corresponding entry in the documentation file. If the build process is halted, a message can be displayed on the computing device, the message identifying the at least one function specified in the source-code file that fails to have the corresponding entry in the documentation file.

  • Patent number: 10237004
Abstract: A device includes circuitry configured to determine characteristics of jammer signals associated with a first wireless protocol of another device. An amount of interference between the jammer signals and a first received signal at the device associated with a second wireless protocol is determined, and the jammer signals are filtered from the second received signal when the amount of interference between the jammer signals and the first received signal is greater than a first predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 9287995
Abstract: A communication device, such as a smart phone, includes transmit/receive logic to cancel an interfering signal component. The interfering signal component may originate from a communication interface on the device itself. For example, transmissions from the communication interface may interfere with received signals at other communication interfaces on the device. Transmit/receive logic on others of the communication interfaces may use known characteristics of the interfering signal component to cancel the interfering signal component.

  • Patent number: 9160587
Abstract: A receiver determines phase and frequency information from data signals that carry information from a transmitter to a receiver, instead of or in addition to, information from control signals. In a specific embodiment, the information is obtained from data signals modulated as a binary phase-shift keying (“BPSK”) waveform by demodulation. Other phase-shift keyings might be used instead. Encoded information might be recovered in received OFDM packets by receiving OFDM subcarriers modulated with the two low data rates supported by IEEE 802.11 standard(s) wherein the subcarriers encoding the packet are modulated using binary phase shift keying and the encoding information is at a zero phase or a ? (pi) phase offset on each of the subcarriers. Determining the carrier frequency might be done by calculating the square of each of subcarrier signal and/or determining the phase offset of the subcarriers even with information modulated onto the subcarriers.

  • Patent number: 7692612
Abstract: In visual display devices such as LCD devices with backlight illumination, the backlight typically consumes most of device battery power. In the interest of displaying a given pixel pattern at a minimized backlight level, the pattern can be transformed while maintaining image quality, with a transform determined from pixel luminance statistics. Aside from, or in addition to such minimizing, a transform also can be used for image enhancement, for a displayed image better to meet a visual perception quality. In either case, the transform preferably is constrained for enforcing one or several display attributes.
