Publication number: 20230213373Abstract: A weighing scale has a housing accommodating a load cell, having fixed, deformation, movable portions. The fixed portion is connected to the housing, and the movable portion bears a spider having a platter. The deformation portion has a strain gauge measuring a weight acting on the platter. A strip light is attached to an external wall of the housing. A state machine of a controller depicts states of the weighing scale. The controller either: applies a voltage to the strip light in a pulsed manner when the state machine is in a first state, and applies a voltage to the strip light constantly in a second state; or applies a voltage to a third group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the first state, and applies a voltage to a second group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the second state.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2022Publication date: July 6, 2023Inventors: Steffen Buhl, Steffen Keinath

Publication number: 20230213374Abstract: A weighing scale includes a weighing module which has a housing in which a load cell is accommodated. The load cell has a fixed portion, a deformation portion, and a movable portion. The fixed portion is connected to the housing, and the movable portion bears a spider having a platter. The deformation portion has a strain gauge configured to measure a weight acting on the platter. The housing is formed as a single piece and in a trough shape. A strip light is attached to an external wall of the housing and is attached substantially all around the housing. The weighing scale further has a controller with a state machine which is configured to depict at least one technical state of the weighing scale, the control unit being configured to actuate the strip light on the basis of the state of the state machine.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2022Publication date: July 6, 2023Inventor: Steffen Buhl

Patent number: 10364692Abstract: The invention relates to an expansion machine (20), comprising an output shaft (24) and a shaft sealing ring (25) that interacts with the output shaft. The expansion machine (20) has an inflow region (21) and an outflow region (22). During operation, a working medium flows through the expansion machine (20), wherein compressed working medium flows into the inflow region (21) and expanded working medium flows out of the outflow region (22). The shaft sealing ring (25) separates a valve space (11) filled with working medium from a surrounding space (40). A valve (10) is arranged in the expansion machine (20). The pressure in the valve space (11) can be controlled by means of the valve (10).Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2015Date of Patent: July 30, 2019Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Nadja Eisenmenger, Steffen Buhl

Patent number: 10301976Abstract: Three-way valve with a valve housing and a closing body arranged in a longitudinally movable manner in the valve housing. An inlet channel, a first outlet channel and a second outlet channel are formed in the valve housing. The closing body interacts by longitudinal movement with a first valve seat formed in the valve housing and thereby opens and closes a first hydraulic connection between the inlet channel and the first outlet channel. Furthermore, the closing body interacts by longitudinal movement with a second valve seat formed in the valve housing and thereby opens and closes a second hydraulic connection between the inlet channel and the second outlet channel. A throttle is formed in the second hydraulic connection.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 2017Date of Patent: May 28, 2019Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Ganesan Vengianan Periasamy, Sophie-Charlotte Deger-Panthene, Steffen Buhl, Stephan Wehr

Patent number: 10247048Abstract: Gate valve (1) with a valve casing (4) and a closing body (3) arranged longitudinally movably in the valve casing (4). An inlet channel (5) and an outlet channel (6) are formed in the valve casing (4). The closing body (3) via longitudinal movement cooperates with a valve seat (8) formed in the valve casing (4) and hence opens and closes a hydraulic connection between the inlet channel (5) and the outlet channel (6). The inlet channel (5) and the outlet channel (6) are each formed as a spiral.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 2017Date of Patent: April 2, 2019Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Nadja Eisenmenger, Sophie-Charlotte Deger-Panthene, Steffen Buhl

Publication number: 20160024950Abstract: The invention relates to a steam turbine 5, in particular for utilizing the waste heat of an internal combustion engine, having at least one turbine housing, having a guide wheel 10 that has at least one nozzle, and having at least one rotor 6, wherein the nozzle is in the form of a duct 11 formed into the guide wheel 10. According to the invention, a steam turbine 5 is provided, the nozzles of which can be manufactured in a simple manner. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the duct 11 has a constant width B and has a depth T that varies along the duct 11. In this way, the duct 11 can be produced by means of a single tool in a single working operation.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2014Publication date: January 28, 2016Inventors: Andreas Wengert, Hans-Christoph Magel, Wolfgang Stolper, Nadja Eisenmenger, Frank Ulrich Rueckert, Steffen Buhl, Thomas Steidten

Patent number: 7617708Abstract: An ignition lock for a motor vehicle includes a carrier element for holding an ignition key that is inserted in the ignition lock. The carrier element is movable along a longitudinal axis of the ignition lock. The carrier element pushes a slide bar from a blocking position to an unblocking position when the carrier element moves along the longitudinal axis. A latch bar, when in its latching position, restricts a movement of the carrier element along the longitudinal axis and, when in its unlatching position, allows the carrier element to move along the longitudinal axis. When the latch bar is in its unlatching position and the slide bar is in its blocking position, the slide bar prevents the latch bar from moving from the unlatching position to the latching position.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2006Date of Patent: November 17, 2009Assignees: Volkswagen AG, Marquardt GmbHInventors: Hans-Joachim Frohne, Ralf Borngräber, Steffen Buhl, Dennis Meβmer, Thomas Schwarz
