Abstract: Embodiments of the invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to PXE processing and provide a method, system and computer program product for selective PXE subnet filtering. In an embodiment of the invention, a PXE server subnet filtering method can be provided. The method can include selectively referring a PXE client to different boot logic depending upon at least a portion of a network assigned address for the PXE client. In this regard, selectively referring a PXE client to different boot logic depending upon at least a portion of a network assigned address for the PXE client can include selectively referring a PXE client to a different boot image notification layer (BINL) service providing a different filename for a different network bootstrap program depending upon at least a portion of an Internet protocol (IP) assigned address for the PXE client by a network resident dynamic host control protocol (DHCP) server in response to a previous DHCP request provided by the PXE client.

Abstract: A multi-media footnote control links a reference and a video. During the viewing of a video by an author/editor thereof, a footnote may be added to properly credit another source and to aid in study of the subject presented on the video. At the appropriate place in the video, the author/editor stops the video and displays a create footnote window. The author will then enter the appropriate data into the window. The footnote data will then be automatically passed to the video in the predetermined position. The footnote will be displayed in a footnote area during the running of the video. If a user/author of the video wishes to review the footnoted reference, the video may be stopped and by indicating the footnote such as with a mouse, the reference will be displayed in a separate window.

Abstract: The automatic addition of hooks to software is provided by greatly simplified steps. A function which is to be hooked is renamed. A new function is then created utilizing the original function name to call the renamed function. The new function is provided with a hook entry and exit.
