    Abstract: A liquid-type image forming apparatus has a printing engine including a developing unit and a transferring unit and a fixing member. The apparatus includes a carrier vapor-processing device having an oxidation catalyst carrier that accelerates oxidation of carrier vapors occurring in the fixing member. A temperature sensor detects a temperature of the oxidation catalyst carrier. A control member compares information measured by the temperature sensor, and compares the information with predetermined reference values. The printing operation of the printing engine is controlled according to the result of the comparison.

An intermediate transfer medium is disposed to contact the photosensitive medium and to rotate in a closed loop, and onto which the image formed on the photosensitive medium is transferred. A transferring and fusing unit is disposed to contact the intermediate transfer medium. The image formed on the intermediate transfer medium is transferred onto a printing paper and the transferred image is fused onto the printing paper. A cooling unit is disposed inside of the intermediate transfer medium to cool a backside of the intermediate transfer medium to in turn cool the intermediate transfer medium.

A bushing bracket is formed in an arch shape for enclosing the periphery of the bushing. A stud bolt is attached at one end to each outer surface of the bushing bracket. The other end of the stud bolt penetrates each lateral surface of the support bracket. A pipe member into which the stud bolt penetrates is coupled to each lateral surface of the support bracket. A coupling nut is coupled to one end of the stud bolt after the stud bolt passes through the pipe member.

The ink removal unit may comprise an ink removal member rotatably installed in the ink reservoir that exhausts ink through a through hole formed under the ink reservoir. A driving member rotates the ink removal member. An ink cartridge stores ink exhausted through the through hole.
