  • Patent number: 5270740
Abstract: An ink jet head used for pulsed droplet ink jet printer uses a grooved piezo-electric element. The piezo-electric element includes a plurality of grooves, diaphrams and actuators. The actuator and two grooves at both sides of the actuator, filled with stuffing material, covers a corresponding one of passages. Therefore, even if the stuffing material moves when the actuator is energized, an interference problem does not occur. Consequently, the flexure force of each actuator can transmit to the corresponding passage to jet ink in the passage via a nozzle.

  • Patent number: 5146236
Abstract: An ink jet record apparatus for driving a drop-on-demand ink jet head with a piezoelectric element in a printing apparatus. The ink jet record apparatus includes a first drive part for driving and operating the ink jet head in a first operation mode, a second drive part for driving and operating the ink jet head in a second operation mode, a selection part for changing an operation of the ink jet head from the first operation mode to the second operation mode or vice versa, and a control part for supplying a drive signal to the selection part in accordance with input image information, thus allowing a size of ink dots on paper to be adjusted through selection of either the first operation mode or the second operation mode.

  • Patent number: 4625322
Abstract: A bias voltage setting circuit for a main charge coupled device is disclosed in which first and second auxiliary charge coupled devices are formed on a semiconductor substrate together with the main charge coupled device, a reference voltage is generated by the first auxiliary charge coupled device, the output voltage of the second auxiliary charge coupled device is compared with the reference voltage by means of a comparator, the bias voltage applied to the second auxiliary charge coupled device is automatically changed by a feedback circuit so that the output voltage of the second auxiliary charge coupled device is approximately equal to the reference voltage, and the bias voltage applied to the second auxiliary charge coupled device is also used as the bias voltage applied to the main charge coupled device.

  • Patent number: 4420734
Abstract: A projection color television receiver set comprises three picture tubes juxtaposed to one another and producing red, green and blue light images which are projected through respective lenses onto a single screen to be reproduced as a single synthesized color picture. In order that rectangular rasters produced by the picture tubes disposed at both sides of the center picture tube are prevented from being deformed into trapezoidal rasters when projected on the screen, deflecting yokes used in the lateral picture tubes are provided with horizontal deflection winding in such arrangement that trapezoidal rasters are produced on faceplates of the laterally disposed picture tubes, respectively, which rasters are projected in a rectangular form on the single screen in alignment with the rectangular raster produced and projected from the center picture tube, whereby a color picture of an improved quality is reproduced on the screen, involving substantially no misconvergence.

  • Patent number: 4285008
Abstract: A capacitor is provided between each cathode of a three-electron-gun color picture tube with three first grids earthed and each transistor amplifier for amplifying each primary color signal. The charging voltage across each capacitor is adjusted by a variable resistor provided corresponding to each capacitor. A variable DC voltage is produced at the sliding terminal of each variable resistor. A switch is provided between the sliding terminal and each cathode, which is turned on during the flyback period and the scanning period.
