    Abstract: A documentation system for editing a document in which a plurality of document data of different forms coexist in a mixed fashion and which includes one or more pages each partitioned into a plurality of regions in accordance with difference edition processing procedures. The system includes a storage for storing the document data of the above-mentioned document structure, a display for displaying the document data as images, and a program executing unit for executing the programs to process the document data within the region being subjected to the edition. The edition processing programs are provided in correspondence with different edition processing procedures such that a given one of the edition processing programs processes the edition of the document data within one of the regions in the document image being displayed on the display unit.

The display memory, the shared memory, and the external memory have first, second and third save areas for temporarily saving the overlapped display data when the plurality of display data are overlapped. The main memory is provided with a first control table for controlling display position, mutual priority for display, and a save area during overlap, regarding each of the plurality of display data stored in the display memory.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an ink droplet expelling apparatus for expelling an ink droplet in response to an electric signal, compising a printing head provided with one or more ink chambers, electro-mechanical transducers disposed on the printing head corresponding to the ink chambers, and a driving signal generating circuit for producing electric signals for driving the electro-mechanical transducers. The elector-mechanical transducers are distorted by three different driving signals to reduce the volumes of the ink chambers to raise the pressure therein to thereby expel an ink droplet out of a nozzle formed at the front end of the head.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for writing information on a writing medium with ink drops which are sequentially generated, selectively charged in accordance with the information, and directed toward the writing medium so as to impinge thereon in column form for representing the information as a continuing mark formed by a sequence of charged ink drops. A predetermined number of uncharged dummy drops is utilized for each column, and a single uncharged dummy drop is inserted only at selected locations and in a predetermined order with respect to the drop portion of the column for eliminating merging of adjacent charged ink drops when a uncharged dummy drop is inserted therebetween.
