  • Publication number: 20070268415
Abstract: A display is operable to simultaneously display, on a single screen, a first image in a direction of a driver's seat based on a first image source, and a second image in a direction of a passenger's seat based on one of the first image source and a second image source. A sound controller is operable to localize a sound image corresponding to at least one of the first image and the second image. The sound controller localizes the sound image corresponding to the second image based on a type of the second image source in a case where the second image is displayed based on the second image source.

  • Publication number: 20070262671
Abstract: A claw pole type motor includes first and second claw poles opposed to each other and each including a radial yoke portion having an inner diameter side and an outer diameter side, a plurality of pole portions arranged on the inner diameter side, and axially extended, and an outer peripheral side yoke portion extending on the outer diameter side. A stator core is provided having an inner diameter side, and is formed so as to cause the pole portions of the first claw pole to be meshed with the pole portions of the second claw pole. A rotor is arranged on the inner diameter side of the stator core with a circumferential gap being defined therebetween. In order to provide high efficiency while simplifying manufacturing, the first and second claw poles are formed by compacting of magnetic powder.

  • Patent number: 7286130
Abstract: The polygonal chart drawing processing device inputs information including the number N of evaluation items, the length M of an evaluation axis, evaluation items and values for the drawing object from the radar chart drawing processing device. The device generates base graphics (e.g. isosceles triangle) as many as the number of evaluation items, then, by obtaining the length L of an isosceles side of the similar figure to the base graphic, generates an item-value-corresponding graphic having a vertical angle being 2?/N and an area representing an item value of the corresponding evaluation item. The device then draws a polygonal chart which consists of all the item-value-corresponding graphics arranged in a radial pattern with the indicator axis of a radar chart being placed over a center line of the corresponding item-value-corresponding graphic and the vertical angle of the item-value-corresponding graphic being placed over the center point.

  • Publication number: 20070046671
Abstract: An extended portfolio chart drawing device draws an evaluation object on a portfolio chart. The chart drawing device selects the evaluation object to draw a radar chart, extracts a score from an index axis of an evaluation item designated by a dial drag position detection unit for the selected evaluation object from the radar chart data, and draws a triangle representing the direction of the index axis and the score of the evaluation item at a position of the corresponding evaluation object on the portfolio chart. Then, the chart drawing device draws a polygon representing the relationship between all the evaluation values for the selected evaluation object to be expanded from the radar chart data at the position of the corresponding evaluation object on the portfolio chart.

  • Patent number: 7036865
Abstract: In an automobile instrument panel structure, an upper meter provided in an upper front part of an instrument panel main body is disposed so as to correspond to an upper side of an upper half of a steering wheel, and a lower meter provided in a lower rear part of the instrument panel main body is disposed so as to correspond to a lower side of the upper half of the steering wheel. It is thus possible to reliably view the upper meter and the lower meter without being obstructed by the steering wheel. Further, since an upper edge of a panel in which the upper meter is disposed has a shape substantially conforming to the upper half of the steering wheel, there is no disagreeable sensation even when the upper meter, which has conventionally been disposed in a laterally central part of the instrument panel main body, is disposed in front of the driver.

  • Publication number: 20050139665
Abstract: The present invention relates to a product identification data management system and method. According to the present invention, an input device of a purchasing department reads a bar code and an RF tag as data of two identification data systems added to a product such that the identification data of the two identification data systems are related with each other. The read bar code data and RF tag data are stored and managed in first and second databases of a information department, respectively. When a user terminal such as a product data terminal issues a request to acquire predetermined data on the basis of the bar code data of the product, the predetermined data is retrieved from either or both of the first and second databases. The acquired data is returned to the user terminal. The consistency between identification data added to each product can also be checked.

  • Patent number: 6799420
Abstract: A temperature sensor is disposed near an HC adsorbent in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine. After the internal combustion engine is shut off, a deteriorated state of the HC adsorbent is evaluated based on a value of the humidity detected by a humidity sensor. The deteriorated state of the HC adsorbent is evaluated by comparing the detected value of the humidity with a threshold established depending on the temperature state near the HC adsorbent. In evaluating deteriorated state of the HC adsorbent, a change in the output characteristics of the humidity sensor depending on its temperature state is compensated for.
