  • Patent number: 8894206
Abstract: A diagnostic equipment having an auto-focusing function comprising a image detection device, a first scanning device, a mobile optical lens assembly, a focusing detection device and a first splitter assembly is provided. The image detection device comprises a first light source and a first photo detector. The first light source provides a first incident light and the first incident light incident to an object and becomes a first signal light. The first photo detector is for receiving the first signal light. The first scanning device is for adjusting a path of the first incident light and to scan the object. The mobile optical lens assembly has a lens and a mobile platform. The first splitter assembly is for transmitting the first and the second signal light to the first and the second photo detector, respectively.

  • Patent number: 8514390
Abstract: An optical equipment for inspecting and addressing a specimen is disclosed. The optical equipment comprises an optical device and a processing module. The optical device comprises a light source, a sample inspecting device and an address detecting device. The sample inspecting device comprises a first objective lens and a first detector. A beam is focused on a sample placed in an inspected site of a specimen by the first objective lens. The address detecting device comprises a second objective lens and a second detector. A beam is focused on the address coding site by the second objective lens. The processing module controls the beam to be focused on the sampling points of the inspected site to generate first optical signals, and simultaneously controls the beam of the light source to be focused on the corresponding address codes of the address coding site to generate second optical signals.

  • Publication number: 20070147197
Abstract: An objective lens actuating apparatus is provided for an optical read/write head. The apparatus includes a base; a lens holder floating over the base; an objective lens, fixed on the lens holder; two multi-polar magnets mounted on the base; and two coil plates located between the two magnets and fixed on the lens holder. Each coil plate has a tracking coil, a focusing coil, and a tilting coil, which overlaps different magnetic poles of each magnet. The coils generate Lorentz Forces after currents being input into the coils, so as to drive the lens holder moving or tilting.

  • Patent number: 6996037
Abstract: A pickup head actuator for carrying a plurality of near-field optical I/O elements, far-field optical I/O elements, or magnetic I/O elements. Besides performing focusing and tracking servo, the attraction due to magnetic inductor and tracking magnet enables a base to float at different heights in its normal state, suitable for different types of I/O elements.

  • Publication number: 20030218946
Abstract: A pickup head actuator is disclosed. It is able to carry near-field optical I/O elements, far-field optical I/O lens, or magnetic I/O elements. Besides performing focusing and tracking servo, the attraction due to magnetic inductor and tracking magnet enables a base to float at different heights in its normal state, suitable for different types of I/O elements. Thus, the invention solves the problem of compatibility.
