  • Patent number: 11398007
Abstract: A video of a shadow is automatically generated to create an illusion that a region included in a real object floats above a background and an apparent height of the region with respect to a background region changes with time. A video generation device receives input of a dark region image including a dark region that is a spatial region corresponding to a target object and is darker than a background, and control information for specifying a motion to be given to the dark region, and obtains and outputs a video including a shadow region is obtained and output. The shadow region is obtained by performing mask processing on a motion region obtained by giving the motion to the dark region according to the control information. The mask processing replaces pixels of a mask region at a spatial position corresponding to the target object with pixels brighter than the motion region.

  • Patent number: 11350065
Abstract: Using different deformation maps that have elements corresponding to respective pixels deriving from an original image and have low-spatial frequency components, the elements indicating a moving direction and a moving amount of the corresponding pixels, the pixels deriving from the original image are moved in a moving direction by a moving amount, the moving direction and the moving amount being specified by the elements corresponding to the respective pixels, and modulated images are obtained. The modulated images are separated into brightness components and color components to obtain brightness component images and color component images, brightness of brightness component images and/or color of color component images is modulated to obtain brightness-modulated image and/or color-modulated image, and a video is obtained, the video being configured by arranging integrated images obtained by integrating the obtained brightness-modulated images and/or color-modulated images.

  • Patent number: 11328635
Abstract: An object including a final target that is equivalent to an object obtained by a superposition of three objects of a target, a dark object, and a light object with approximately the same shape, a superposition of two objects of a target and a dark object with approximately the same shape or approximately similar shapes, or a superposition of two objects of a target and a light object with approximately the same shape or approximately similar shapes is arranged in a background of which luminance periodically varies over time. However, luminance of the dark object is lower than luminance of the target, luminance of the light object is higher than the luminance of the target, and the superposition described above is an incomplete superposition in which a part of the dark object and/or a part of the light object is hidden by the target.
