  • Publication number: 20230098420
Abstract: A vehicle collision avoidance assist apparatus keeps stopping a collision avoidance control when a forbiddance condition is satisfied, and a collision condition is satisfied. The forbiddance condition is a condition that the collision angle is equal to or greater than a predetermined collision angle threshold. The collision condition is a condition that an own vehicle is going to collide with an object. While the own vehicle turns, the apparatus acquires an own vehicle turning angle which the own vehicle has turned about a turning center from when the own vehicle starts turning and sets the predetermined collision angle threshold such that the predetermined collision angle threshold set for the greater own vehicle turning angle is smaller than the predetermined collision angle threshold set for the smaller own vehicle turning angle.

  • Publication number: 20230100834
Abstract: A vehicle collision avoidance assist apparatus keeps stopping a collision avoidance control to avoid a collision of an own vehicle with an object ahead of the own vehicle when the own vehicle turns, a predetermined condition is satisfied, and a collision condition is satisfied. While the own vehicle turns, the apparatus acquires an own vehicle turning angle which is an angle which the own vehicle has turned about a turning center from when the own vehicle starts turning and change the predetermined condition, depending on the own vehicle turning angle.

  • Publication number: 20220258731
Abstract: A collision avoidance assist apparatus includes: a front-and-lateral target information acquisition device configured to acquire front-and-lateral target information; a vehicle information acquisition device configured to acquire vehicle information including a vehicle speed and at least one of a yaw rate or a steering input value; and a control unit configured to execute collision avoidance assist control when a target satisfies a collision condition that is satisfied when the target is determined to have collision possibility. The control unit selects targets that satisfy a predetermined selection condition from targets in the front-and-lateral target information, determines whether the collision condition is satisfied for each selected target, determines, when this determination is to be made, whether an own vehicle is turning based on the vehicle information, and changes the selection condition between a case in which the own vehicle is not turning and a case in which the own vehicle is turning.

  • Patent number: 11383706
Abstract: A drive assistance system includes a primary target setter to designate an object determined based on a current movement locus of the own vehicle to be a primary target probably interfering with the own vehicle; a prediction locus estimation unit to estimate a prediction locus along which the own vehicle moves when primary avoidance control is executed in the own vehicle to avoid the interference with the primary target; and a secondary target setter to designate another object determined based on the prediction locus as a secondary target probably interfering with the own vehicle. The drive assistance system also includes a drive assistance controller to execute drive assistance control in the own vehicle based on a determination of whether the interference by the secondary target can be avoided by executing a secondary avoidance control in the own vehicle to avoid the interference by the secondary target.

  • Publication number: 20210370924
Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus is configured to identify a target as a crossing target when a vehicle and the target are expected to collide with each other in an intersecting region, configured to decelerate the vehicle at a first deceleration from a first timing before an expected collision timing that the vehicle and the crossing target are expected to collide with each other, and configured to decelerate the vehicle at a second deceleration from a second timing when the crossing target is still present at a second timing immediately before a third timing defined such that the vehicle is not stoppable at a position immediately before entering the intersecting region in a case where the vehicle starts to decelerate from the third timing at a second deceleration having an absolute value larger than an absolute value of the first deceleration.

  • Patent number: 5652360
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a new cationic starch and cationic starch paste or slurry. The starch paste or slurry has a low cation equivalent value despite its high nitrogen content and also has a low solution viscosity despite its high molecular weight. The cationic starch and cationic starch paste or slurry is formed by substitution with a one or both of quaternary ammonium salt or a tertiary amino group, characterized in that its nitrogen content (X) due to the quaternary ammonium salt and/or tertiary amino group is related to its cation equivalent value (Y) as defined below:Y<0.70097X-0.07978(in the case of natural terrestrial stem starch)Y<0.32936X-0.00495(in the case of natural subterranean stem starch having ester-type substituents)Y<0.40942X+0.
