Abstract: An imaging apparatus according to the present invention includes an image sensor, a processor, and a memory storing a program which, when executed by the processor, causes the imaging apparatus to acquire inclination information that is information of inclination of a dual-lens circular fish-eye lens unit with respect to the image sensor by analyzing a third image including a first circular fish-eye image area and a second circular fish-eye image area formed on the image sensor via two circular fish-eye lenses in the dual-lens circular fish-eye lens unit in a case where the dual-lens circular fish-eye lens unit is mounted to the imaging apparatus, and perform control to notify the inclination of the dual-lens circular fish-eye lens unit with respect to the image sensor based on the acquired inclination information.
