  • Patent number: 11168587
Abstract: A steam turbine diaphragm including a diaphragm inner ring, a diaphragm outer ring, and a blade section that are formed integrally includes: a collector ring that retains a seal fin having a radial spill strip structure; and an adapter ring interposed between the diaphragm outer ring and the collector ring. The collector ring and the adapter ring have external radii that are larger than an external radius of the diaphragm outer ring. The diaphragm outer ring and the adapter ring are mutually coupled by a plurality of first bolts. Facing surfaces of the diaphragm outer ring and the adapter ring are kept together tightly and sealed. The collector ring and the adapter ring are mutually coupled by a plurality of second bolts that are inserted at positions on an outer circumference side of the seal fin.

  • Patent number: 10137405
Abstract: A porous carbon that can sufficiently adsorb water vapor on a high humidity side is provided. A porous carbon is characterized by having mesopores and micropores and having a water vapor adsorbed amount ratio, as defined by the following expression (1), of 1.8 or higher. It is particularly preferable that the water vapor adsorbed amount ratio as defined by the following expression (1) be 2.0 or higher. It is also preferable that the water vapor adsorbed amount at a relative humidity of 70% be 50 mg/g or greater. Water vapor adsorbed amount ratio=water vapor adsorbed amount at a relative humidity of 90%/water vapor adsorbed amount at a relative humidity of 70%.

  • Patent number: 9102541
Abstract: A carbon material and a method of manufacturing the carbon material are provided. By affixing diamond particles onto a carbonaceous substrate in a condition in which etching caused by hydrogen radicals is unlikely to occur, the substrate etching rate can be suppressed, and the carbon material is allowed to have a diamond thin film having excellent adhesion capability. The carbon material has a carbonaceous substrate showing a weight decrease under a diamond synthesis condition, diamond particles disposed on a surface of the carbonaceous substrate, and a diamond layer having the diamond particles as seeds. The weight of the diamond particles per unit area is set to from 1.0×10?4 g/cm2 to less than 3.0×10?3 g/cm2.

  • Patent number: 8282796
Abstract: A carbonaceous substrate of the present invention is such that an X-ray diffraction pattern thereof is a complex profile and includes at least two (002) diffraction lines; and the substrates contains crystallites with different interlayer spacings. Further, in the X-ray diffraction pattern, (002) diffraction lines between 2?=10° and 2?=30° have an asymmetric shape; and the X-ray diffraction pattern includes at least two pattern components which are a diffraction line whose center is at 2?=26° and a diffraction line whose center is at a lower angle than 2?=26°. Further, the carbonaceous substrate contains crystals wherein the periodic distance d002 is 0.34 nm or more and the crystallite size Lc002 is 20 nm or less based on the X-ray diffraction lines. An electrodes for fluorine electrolysis of the present invention includes the carbonaceous substrate on which a conductive diamond thin film is formed.
