  • Publication number: 20080036222
Abstract: The automobile rear structure includes a diffuser which is arranged on a vehicle-body rear side of a muffler and is configured to interfere with exhaust gas discharged from the muffler so as to make a portion of the exhaust gas flow downwardly, and a flow rectification plate which is arranged below the muffler and guides the downwardly flowing exhaust gas in the direction along an air flow flowing below the floor of the vehicle body to merge the exhaust gas into the air flow. The exhaust gas discharged downwardly from a space defined between a front end portion of the diffuser and a body portion of the muffler is guided in the direction inclined downwardly toward the rear side of the vehicle body and, thereafter, is guided in the direction along the air flow flowing below the floor of the vehicle body, and is merged into the air flow.

  • Patent number: 7080943
Abstract: The present invention provides a slide guide for a press which comprises a gib structure with a spherical surface. The gibs are formed on a frame of the press. The spherical surface is provided with a holder or a cap to cover the spherical surface. The surface contacts are formed between the spherical surface bodies and the gibs or between the caps and the gibs. Forming spherical contact surfaces prevents damage to the sliding surface. This slide guide provides uniform, secure contact at a sliding surface of a press and prevents uneven contact. The spherical surface body can be easily installed and can adapt to deformation of the slide and prevent damage to the sliding surface.

  • Publication number: 20060093134
Abstract: A cellular phone and a manufacturing method thereof capable of achieving attractive design as well as high operating efficiency in the assembly process. A cellular phone comprises a first housing, a second housing, a first circuit board, a second circuit board, a flexible cable to electrically connect the first and second circuit boards, and a hinge that rotates about a prescribed rotation axis. When the first and second housings are in their open positions resulting from the rotation of the hinge, one edge of the second housing is located vertically above one edge of the first housing. The hinge includes hinge semi-cylindrical portions that form a hollow part capable of accommodating the flexible cable. The first and second circuit boards are mounted on the first and second housings, respectively. The flexible cable is accommodated in the hollow part. One end of the flexible cable is threaded through an aperture formed at the one edge of the second housing.

  • Publication number: 20050178270
Abstract: In an apparatus for ionizing and separating a gas into gas components in an inlet gas (11), a gas flowing into a flow channel of a chamber from an inlet port is ionized, and in the flow channel the gas ionized by applying an electrical field to the gas components having an ionized state by electrodes (16) (17) is separated into a cation and anion to separate a gas molecule component contained in the gas. One of the gas component such as a clean air is removed from a first outlet (12) port and the separated gas component is removed from a second outlet (13) port. A flow of the inlet gas from the inlet port is adjusted to retain the gas in the flow channel of the chamber for a predetermined or more time so that an airflow is adjusted.
