    Abstract: A semiconductor module includes: one or more semiconductor elements; a wiring substrate having a first surface on which the one or more semiconductor elements are mounted, the wiring substrate being electrically connected to the one or more semiconductor elements; a heat sink on which the wiring substrate is mounted, the heat sink facing a second surface of the wiring substrate on a reverse side of the first surface; a binder which is formed in a die pad area on the heat sink so as to be present between the wiring substrate and the heat sink, and bonds the wiring substrate and the heat sink; and a support which is formed in a peripheral part of the die pad area on the heat sink, and fixes the wiring substrate to the heat sink by being in contact with a peripheral part of the second surface of the wiring substrate.

The stent (1) is in a tubular shape that is expandable in a radial direction, the stent being placed in a tubular vessel of a living body. The main stent element (2) is fabricated of an alloy with a proof stress of from 500 to 2700 MPa, or is fabricated of an electroformed alloy with a repetition fatigue strength at least 1.5 times the strength of a nickel member or a nickel/cobalt alloy member, which is an alloy containing any of gold, silver, copper, nickel, cobalt and palladium. Therefore, the stent (1) may be easily and uniformly expanded in the radial direction, and is not easily crushed in the radial direction after being expanded.

The heat-generating member is in contact with a fluid in a distal portion of the catheter shaft. A method for treating a patient including introducing a low temperature fluid which flows through the balloon, introducing energy into a catheter shaft, and converting the energy into heat by a heat-generating member to heat the fluid, whereby an organ of the patient is heated and cooled. In the method, a portion of a diseased tissue of the organ is (i) heated from 35 to 40° C. to 60 to 80° C. within 30 seconds, (ii) expanded by applying a pressure of 500 kPa or smaller to the balloon, and (iii) cooled to 45° C. or lower within 40 seconds.
