  • Publication number: 20120000555
Abstract: A fuel supply system includes a fuel pump, a storing part, an injection nozzle, a communication part, a first fuel source, a second fuel source, and a fuel transfer passage part. The storing part stores fuel, which is drawn from a suction port. Part of fuel discharged from a discharge port is injected through the nozzle. The communication part communicates between the nozzle and the storing part. The communication part includes a first opening and a second opening, which are formed at positions where negative pressure is generated as a result of the injection of fuel through the nozzle. Fuel is drawn through the first and second openings, and is guided into the storing part through the communication part. The fuel flowing into the second opening is stored in the first source. The fuel stored in the second source is transferred into the first opening through the passage part.

  • Patent number: 7620838
Abstract: A circuit system is provided capable of improving the throughput thereof by eliminating the operational constraint that if the operating frequency of a content addressable memory is lower than the operating frequency of a system LSI, two system clocks should be provided, or the higher frequency should be synchronized with the slower system clock. A clock control circuit (103) for down-converting an internal clock (?1) of a LSI (101) is provided, and a control signal whose frequency is made lower is used to operate a content addressable memory circuit (102).

  • Patent number: 7596010
Abstract: There is provided a control circuit (409) for fetching a result of a comparison of a part of bits of entry data with a corresponding bit of comparison data and prohibiting a comparison of residual bits in the entry data with the corresponding bit of the comparison data when the result of the comparison is mismatched, and the comparison of the residual bits in the entry data with the corresponding bit of the comparison data is prohibited. Consequently, the number of signal lines to be activated in one cycle of a comparing operation is decreased. Thus, a reduction in a consumed power can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 7222610
Abstract: A lid member is mounted to the fuel tank to cover an opening of the fuel tank. A fuel pump is arranged in the fuel tank to pump fuel in the fuel tank. A module case supports the fuel pump. A pump module includes fuel component protruding from a lateral side of the module case in a projection, which is viewed from a side of the lid member. A supporting member is connected with the lid member and the module case to support the pump module in the fuel tank. The lid member supports the pump module via the supporting member. The module case includes a connecting portion that connects with the supporting member. The connecting portion protrudes from the module case to the lateral side of the module case. The connecting portion is arranged in an imaginary circle that passes through outer peripheries of the module case and the fuel component in the projection. • Patent number: 7108487
Abstract: A fuel supply system has a cover, a pump unit, and metal pipes. The cover and the pump unit are connected through the use of the metal pipes so as to be moved relatively each other. A case cover, covering the pump unit, has supporting portions, each of which has a through hole. Each metal pipe is inserted through the through hole and thereby guided to be moved in its axial direction inside the supporting portion. The supporting portion has a plurality of grooves. Therefore, sliding resistance between the metal pipe and the supporting portion is reduced, that is, the pump unit can be smoothly moved relatively to the cover.

  • Publication number: 20050172937
Abstract: A fuel supply device is composed of a bottom cover closing a bottom opening of a fuel tank and a fuel pump module mounted on the bottom cover. The fuel pump module includes a fuel pump for sucking fuel contained in the fuel tank, a pressure regulator for regulating fuel pressure by discharging part of the fuel sucked by the fuel pump and a fuel level detector for detecting a fuel level in the fuel tank. The fuel pump module is submerged in fuel contained in the fuel tank. The fuel level detector is positioned apart from the pressure regulator in both the horizontal and vertical directions, so that the fuel level detector accurately detects the fuel level without being disturbed by a fuel flow discharged from the pressure regulator.

  • Patent number: 6837222
Abstract: In a fuel supply apparatus for a vehicle, a sender gauge is attached to a stay separated from a flange and a bracket for supporting a fuel pump. By changing the shape of the stay, without changing the shape of other components, the mounting position of the sender gauge can be arbitrarily defined. The position of the sender gauge can be moved to a position where the interference of a float member with a fuel tank, sub-tank or suction filter may be prevented.
