Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cross-linked peptide containing a novel non-peptide cross-linked structure, and a method for synthesizing the same. A cross-linked peptide having a novel non-peptide cross-linked structure, a useful intermediate for synthesizing the cross-linked peptide, and a method for synthesizing the novel cross-linked peptide and the intermediate are provided. The cross-linked peptide is characterized by having an —NR— bond in the cross-linked structure. By using the method for synthesizing the cross-linked peptide, a cross-link can be freely designed and an change can be freely made to a cross-link.
Abstract: A blower includes a volute shaped casing having an air inlet, and an impeller including a disk-shaped backing plate, a ring-shaped rim, and a plurality of blades supported between the backing plate and the rim. The impeller is housed in the casing. Each of the blades includes a first blade segment adjacent to the backing plate, and a second blade segment provided between the first blade segment and the rim. Each of the blades has a blade outlet angle at a trailing edge of the second blade segment different from a blade outlet angle at a trailing edge of the first blade segment. At least one of a pressure surface of the second blade segment and a suction surface of the second blade segment includes a flat surface extending toward a leading edge of the second blade segment from the trailing edge of the second blade segment.
Abstract: An image processing device includes a processor. The processor detects a lesion candidate based on a medical image obtained by picking up an image of a subject, detects a feature including a swelling direction of the lesion candidate, determines a display state of a mark displayed according to the feature of the lesion candidate, generates mark display information including information on the display state, and determines a position of the mark in a predetermined peripheral region of the lesion candidate according to the detected swelling direction. The image processing device generates a display image in which the mark is added to the position of the mark of the medical image based on the mark display information.
Abstract: An endoscope diagnosis support system includes a processor. The processor performs detection of an anomaly candidate area from an endoscope image obtained by performing image pickup of an inside of a subject to obtain a detection result, and generates a display image in which an indicator indicating detection of the anomaly candidate area is arranged in a periphery portion of the endoscope image in accordance with the detection result.

Abstract: A vehicle control system including a plurality of systems configured to control a plurality of different functions, respectively, of a vehicle, and the plurality of systems each include: a plurality of input sections; an input adjustment section configured to adjust one or more requests, inputted through the plurality of input sections, for controlling a predetermined vehicle function; a plurality of output sections associated with the vehicle function; and a management section configured to manage operations of the plurality of output sections, based on a request adjusted by the input adjustment section. The management sections each have a communication function that allows information that is associated with management based on at least the adjusted request to be transmitted to and received from each other.

In the fuel cell stack including a plurality of stacked cells each having separators, the base material of each of the separators used for the end cell located at the positive-side end of the fuel cell stack and the base material of each of the separators used for the other cells are different metallic materials, and the base material (e.g., Ti) of each of the separators used for the end cell has higher corrosion resistance than the base material (e.g., SUS) of each of the separators used for the other cells.
Abstract: A computer of an active vibration damping device calculates operation command values for an actuator from rotation information of a drive source, and corrects the operation command values in accordance with an internal temperature of the actuator. The computer applies a drive voltage to the actuator using a voltage duty ratio based on the corrected operation command values. The computer also estimates the internal temperature on the basis of an average duty ratio as an average of the voltage duty ratios in a predetermined interval.
Abstract: An attachable matter detection apparatus according to an embodiment includes an acquirement unit, a creation unit, and a determination unit. The acquirement unit acquires a determination target area of an attachable matter from a photographic image. The creation unit creates histograms of at least an edge intensity, luminance, and saturation for the determination target area acquired by the acquirement unit. The determination unit determines whether or not the attachable matter exists in the determination target area on the basis of a ratio of frequency of each grade in each of the histograms created by the creation unit.
