  • Publication number: 20190354320
Abstract: An image processing apparatus perform operations. An inclination-corrected document image is acquired by executing detection of a document area from a scanned image, extraction of a document image corresponding to the detected document area from the scanned image and correction of an extracted document image inclination. An output size is designated to be used when an image of a repeat target area is printed out. The output size is designated based on a user instruction. A repeat target area is set based on the acquired inclination-corrected document image and the designated output size. An image inside the set repeat target area is scaled up/down such that the image has the output size, and the image is repeatedly laid out within a designated sheet size to create an output image subsequent to repeat layout processing. Print processing is executed by using the output image subsequent to the repeat layout processing.

  • Publication number: 20190354755
Abstract: Image analysis processing is performed on a scanned image to detect a document area and, based on the detected document area, a tilt-corrected document image is obtained by extraction and tilt correction of the document image. Further, an image output size of printing an image in a repeat target area specified based on the tilt-corrected document image is specified, magnification of the image in the repeat target area is changed to the output size, and the image is repeatedly laid out within a specified sheet size. Thus, in an apparatus that generates a repeat layout processed output image and controls print processing, an image output size which is the same as an image output size for the front side of a sheet is specified for the back side of the sheet in a case where the repeat layout processing is performed on both the sides of the sheet.

  • Publication number: 20190356790
Abstract: An image processing apparatus performs operations. A mode is designated in repeat layout processing. A document area is detected by performing image analysis processing on a scanned image, and an inclination-corrected document image is acquired by performing extraction and inclination correction of a document image based on the detected document area. An initial repeat target area position is determined based on the acquired inclination-corrected document image and the designated mode, the inclination-corrected document image and a frame indicating the determined position are displayed, and a repeat target area designation screen is displayed to change a position of the frame indicating the repeat target area based on a user instruction. An output image is generated after the repeat layout processing by repeatedly laying out, in a designated sheet size, an image of the repeat target area determined based on the frame set on the repeat target area designation screen.

  • Publication number: 20190286383
Abstract: A tilt-corrected document image is obtained by performing image analysis processing on a scan image to detect a document area and performing extraction and tilt correction of a document image based on the detected document area. A repeat target area is set based on the obtained tilt-corrected document image. The number of repetitions in repeatedly laying out the repeat target area for each of a plurality of candidate sheet sizes is calculated, and a list screen showing the calculated numbers of repetitions for the respective plurality of candidate sheet sizes is displayed. A repeat layout-processed output image is generated by repeatedly laying out an image of the repeat target area within a sheet size specified by a user, and print processing is made executable.

  • Publication number: 20190286397
Abstract: A tilt-corrected document image is obtained by performing image analysis processing on a scan image to detect a document area and performing extraction and tilt correction of a document image based on the detected document area. The tilt-corrected document image and a frame indicating a repeat target area are displayed in a repeat target area specification screen. The initially displayed frame indicates an area corresponding to the tilt-corrected document image. A position of the displayed frame can be changed based on a user's instruction on the screen. A repeat layout-processed output image is generated by repeatedly laying out an image of the repeat target area determined based on the frame set on the screen within a specified sheet size, and print processing is made executable.

The controller includes a distance measurer, a time measurer, a recorder, and a train-length calculator. The distance measurer measures a travelling distance of the train from a beginning of the block, the time measurer measures an elapsed time since the distance measurer starts the measurement, the recorder records the elapsed time and the travelling distance, and the train-length calculator searches the recorder based on the detecting time, and calculates the train length using a selected travelling distance.

  • Patent number: 10354162
Abstract: A detected quadrilateral area is displayed and no group of candidate lines is displayed in a normal state. While a user is selecting a side that the user desires to change, a group of candidate lines corresponding to the selected side is displayed. • Publication number: 20190031218
Abstract: A train information management device sends and receives information to and from both a train-controlling in-vehicle wireless station for controlling an operation of a train, and a door-controlling in-vehicle wireless station for controlling vehicle doors. The device includes a wireless train control unit, an automatic operation unit, and a door control unit. The wireless train control unit receives route information represented by a consecutive block sequence and information on a stop limit location that the train may reach without hindering a preceding train, and if this route information includes a station block number, consults an in-vehicle database to extract, before the train arrives at a platform, an arrival track where the train is to stop, a stop target location at a stop station dependent on a travel direction of the train, and which of the vehicle doors is to be opened, and stops the train in accordance with the route information.
