  • Publication number: 20100202568
Abstract: Provided is a receiver including a receiving unit, a demodulator-decoder unit, a synchronization detecting unit, and an output control unit. The receiving unit receives digital broadcasting. The demodulator-decoder unit obtains an output including a transport stream through a demodulating processing and a decoding processing performed on a reception signal received by the receiving unit. The synchronization detecting unit secures synchronization on the basis of the reception signal received by the receiving unit, and generates a timing signal to be used in the demodulating processing and in the decoding processing. The output control unit outputs the output including the transport stream from the demodulator-decoder unit if the synchronization is secured. The output control unit fixes a logic level of the output including the transport stream if the synchronization is not secured.

  • Patent number: 7386311
Abstract: A provider code is added to a request signal transmitted to contents server SP1 from mobile unit MS by mobile communication network GSM. Border switching station CMMS adds a roaming flag to the request signal, and forwards the request signal to gateway unit GW. Gateway unit GW converts the provider code contained in the request signal into the country code by referring to the code conversion table, and transmits HTTP request to contents server CP1 after adding the country code and roaming identification information to HTTP header. When contents server CP1 receives the above-mentioned HTTP request, CP1 determines whether the requested contents are allowed to be transmitted abroad by referring to the transmission table. When transmission of the requested contents is not permitted, contents server CP1 transmits an error notification to mobile unit MS to notify that transmission is not permitted.

  • Publication number: 20070116161
Abstract: Respective demodulated outputs from a plurality of branches 11a to 11d are fed to corresponding error correction units 13a to 13d and error-corrected. The error correction units 13a to 13d feed error signals to error determination units 14a to 14d. The error determination units 14a to 14d determine the error-incidence situations of the respective branches 11a to 11d and then output the determination results to a coefficient generation unit 15. Based on the results of determination by the error determination units 14a to 14d, the coefficient generation unit 15 obtains the synthesis coefficients for the respective branch outputs. The synthesis coefficients correspond to the error-incidence situations of the respective branch outputs and are appropriate values including no errors. By synthesizing the respective branch outputs by use of the synthesis coefficients, error-free data can be reproduced.

  • Publication number: 20070025473
Abstract: A demodulating circuit demodulates a digital broadcasting signal and transmission control information for identifying a transmission system of the digital broadcasting signal from a transmission signal. A buffer circuit holds the transmission control information for at least one frame period. A multi circuit periodically multiplexes the transmission control information demodulated by the demodulating circuit and the transmission control information held by the buffer circuit at least in units of one frame. The multiplexed transmission control information is supplied to the buffer circuit and is also supplied to a first error correction circuit. The first error correction circuit corrects errors of the transmission control information. The transmission control information is multiplexed, and accuracy of error correction is improved by a time interleaving effect so that lead-in time is reduced.
