Abstract: An imaging apparatus comprises: a color separation optical system for separating an image ray into blue, green, and red image rays, image sensors, having pixels vertically and horizontally arranged, for receiving the image rays and producing blue, red, and green signals wherein at least one of image sensors for blue and red signals has a vertical relative offset against the image sensor for green signal to have a relative interlace relation with the image sensor for blue or red color signal, to produce a screen to be produced, having a higher resolution than these image sensors. A vertical high frequency component is operated from the blue and red signals and is added to the green color signal to produce a second green signal indicative of is a green luminance value at a position corresponding to each pixel of the image sensors for blue and red color signals to increase the vertical resolution of the screen.

Abstract: In an apparatus for use in a computer system for accessing to a main memory when a desired datum is not memorized in a cache memory, a supplementary memory is included in the apparatus for memorizing a supplementary datum representative of a predetermined address in the main memory. When the desired datum is not memorized in a particular address of the cache memory, a judging circuit produces a particular signal. By a combination of the supplementary datum and the particular signal, an access control part accesses to the main memory to read a specific datum of the main data as the desired datum from the main memory. The specific datum is stored in the particular address from the access control part. The described system can be used for both tagged and untagged data, allowing for compatibility between data systems using different tagging schemes.

Abstract: A solid-state color imaging apparatus including first and second CDs for outputting electric signals in response to incident lights thereon and a prism for separating to green and red, blue lights a light incident thereon which includes optical information corresponding to an object viewed by the solid-state color imaging apparatus. In front of the first and second CCDs are provided first and second color filters whereby the separated green light is introduced through the first color filter into the first CCD and the separated red and blue light is introduced through the second color filter into the second CCD. The first color filter has light-transmission portions all of which transmit the green light from the prism, and the second color filter has red-light transmission portions and red-and-blue-light transmission portions which are successively arranged in horizontal and vertical directions so as to form a pattern comprising horizontal lines and vertical lines.

Abstract: An automatic focusing apparatus having a focusing lens system and an image pickup device for converting a light beam incident thereon into the corresponding electrical signal. The automatic focusing apparatus is arranged so that focusing is performed in accordance with the focus voltage obtained from a predetermined high-frequency component of the electrical signal, on the basis of the fact that the level of the focus voltage corresponds to the sharpness of the resultant image. The focus voltage is successively compared with each of a plurality of reference voltages predetermined to be increased in steps. The focusing lens system is controlled in position in accordance with a comparison between the first reference voltage agreeing with one of the focus voltages and the second reference voltage agreeing with another focus voltage so that the focusing lens system approaches the focus position.

Abstract: A foreign substance disposing device for a money receiving and disbursing machine comprising stationary clip plates for clipping the bills therebetween, movable clip plate for clipping the bills, pick out rollers for picking out the bills which are clipped between the stationary and movable clip plates, a pick out motor for controlling an operation of the pick out rollers, a detection coil provided on a circuit board for producing a change in impedance in response to passing of the bills, impedance detector for detecting the change in the impedance of the coil, controller for judging whether or not the bills passing the coil are accompanied by a foreign substance based on signals from the impedance detector and for providing the pick out rollers with a control signal for preventing the pick out rollers from picking the bills out when a foreign substance is detected, and alarm for receiving signals from the controller and producing an alarm signal.

Abstract: A coin stacking apparatus includes a conveyor for conveying coins edge-wise one at a time and delivering each of the conveyed coins in its horizontal position. A receiver receives the coins from the outlet end of the conveyor in a stacked condition. The receiver includes two endless belts running along the length of the receiver and cooperating with each other to form a coin receiving space therebetween. Each of the endless belts has a supporter extending therefrom. The supporter includes a surface on which the coins are to be placed. The surface is inclined upwardly and forwardly relative to the direction of the conveyor.

Abstract: A frame for a motorcycle having a sealed cavity located within the down tube assembly. The down tube assembly includes two parallel down tubes with two cross members joining same. An inlet and outlet are associated with the cavity thus formed and are placed into communication with the exhaust and intake for lubricant to the engine. Thus, a lubricant supply reservoir is formed. A breather port is also included with the down tube assembly for exhausting gases from the lubricant reservoir. Additional frame construction is disclosed including frame joints, a rear carrier, a rear fender assembly and cross members therefor.

Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for arranging the obverse and reverse sides of bills. The apparatus comprises a carrying-in passage, a rear conveying passage, a front conveying passage, and an accumulating wheel. The rear conveying passage and front conveying passage are divided from the carrying-in passage, and respectively lead to the accumulating wheel. The front conveying passage includes an inverting/conveying passage for inverting the leading end of the bill. Consequently the bills are accumulated in a box through the accumulating wheel so with their obverse sides or reverse sides up.

Abstract: An air cleaner system for motorcycles employing the hollow interior of a main frame member. A U-shaped cavity facing forwardly of the motorcycle in the fuel tank allows access to the air cleaner assembly positioned within the main frame member. An inlet opening is provided on the upper surface of the main frame member while outlet openings on the lower surface thereof extend to carburetors. The inlet opening of the main frame member is reinforced and a baffle is positioned between the air filter assembly and the intake passages to the carburetors.

Abstract: An automatic money receiving and disbursing machine having the functions of receiving money from customers and disbursing money to customers from a box disposed within the machine. The machine is provided with a circulation path in communication with a transacting section to receive or disburse the notes therethrough. A portion of the circulation path is in communication with the disbursing box for receiving the notes disbursed from the disbursing box. Another portion of the circulation path is in communication with a note receiving box. A discrimination section is provided in the circulation path to discriminate the notes received or the notes disbursed. In the disbursing mode, when an abnormal note is found by discrimination, all the notes are discriminated again by passing the notes through the discrimination section via the circulation path.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a V-type multi-cylinder internal combustion engine mounted on the middle portion of a vehicle body having front and rear wheels. The internal combustion engine has a supercharger comprising an exhaust turbine provided in an exhaust passage of the engine and a compressor provided in an intake passage of the engine and arranged to be driven by the turbine. In the present invention, an expansion chamber is interposed in the intake passage so as to be positioned between an outlet opening of the compressor and respective intake pipes extending from respective intake ports of the cylinders of the engine. The expansion chamber is placed in a space defined by a V bank of the engine.

Abstract: A two wheel vehicle comprising a vehicle body having a front wheel and a rear wheel with an internal combustion engine mounted on the mid portion of the frame is provided. The engine is provided with a supercharger having an exhaust turbine provided on an exhaust passage side thereof and a compressor provided on an intake passage side thereof and arranged to move with the turbine. The supercharger is positioned in a space defined by the engine and a supporting frame which supports the engine and is interposed between the engine and the front wheel. The defined space is remote from the driver so that the driver is not affected by the supercharger. The supercharger may be mounted on the supporting frame so that it is protected against external frontal or lateral forces.

The optical low-pass filter comprises a base plate, and a plurality of bi-prisms respectively formed on at least one surface of the base plate, and extending parallel with respect to one direction, where the plurality of bi-prisms are arranged at a pitch which is smaller than the diameter of a minimum aperture used of the iris.
