  • Patent number: 10248047
Abstract: A toner case includes a case main body and a cover. The case main body stores a toner. The cover covers a face of the case main body at one end side in a longitudinal direction of the case main body. An inside projection or an inside recess is provided on an inner face of the cover at a position to be touchable from an outside. A number of the inside projection or the inside recess is determined based on a color of the toner stored in the case main body.

  • Publication number: 20190098644
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for improving a scheduling request transmission between a UE and a base station. The transmission of the scheduling request is postponed, by implementing a threshold that the data in the transmission buffer has to reach, before a transmission of the scheduling request is triggered. In one variant, the data in the transmission buffer needs to reach a specific amount, to trigger a scheduling request. The invention refers to further improvements: the PDDCH monitoring time window is delayed after sending a scheduling request; the dedicated scheduling request resources of the PUCCH are prioritized differently such that low-priority scheduling requests are transmitted less often.

  • Publication number: 20190098583
Abstract: Provided is a terminal apparatus in which, a transmission control unit (204) controls the transmission power of a sounding reference signal (SRS) by use of an offset value relative to the transmission power of a data signal, and a transmission unit (206) transmits the SRS by use of the transmission power as controlled. If a subframe to be used for transmitting the SRS is a predetermined subframe, the transmission control unit (204) uses a first offset value to control the transmission power of the SRS. Otherwise, the transmission control unit (204) uses a second offset value to control the transmission power of the SRS. The second offset value is an offset value that has been established so as to be transmitted to the serving cell of the terminal (200), and the first offset value is greater than the second offset value.

  • Patent number: 10244136
Abstract: An operation panel of an image forming apparatus receives in a login state and does not receive in a logout state a job setting instruction, etc. When a communication section receives a confirmation request to confirm use status of the image forming apparatus, a controller of the image forming apparatus specifies a requester who is a user of a communication device having transmitted the confirmation request and determines whether the image forming apparatus is to be set in a reserved state based on communication with the communication device. When a user information set of the requester is input in a state in which the image forming apparatus is in the reserved state, the controller causes the operation panel to transition from the logout state to the login state. The controller refuses additional login from a user other than the requester during the image forming apparatus being in the reserved state.

  • Patent number: 10218472
Abstract: A communication terminal is capable of simultaneously communicating through a plurality of carriers by carrier aggregation, and the communication terminal comprises: a quality measurement unit for measuring the reception quality of a radio wave transmitted through a plurality of carriers from a base station of a connected cell to obtain a measured value; a primary carrier storage unit storing information specifying a primary carrier chosen from the plurality of carriers; a comparator for comparing a measured value of the primary carrier measured by the quality measurement unit to a threshold value; and a cell search unit for searching for another cell when the measured value of the primary carrier is less than or equal to the threshold value. Consequently, a search threshold value for carrier aggregation can be appropriately determined to perform a cell search and a quality measurement.

  • Patent number: 10178577
Abstract: In a wireless communication terminal in a wireless communication system for performing a control not to transmit signals, or to transmit signals with a reduction in a transmission power by a part of radio resources for a downlink signal in a cell provided by a base station, the terminal receives control information in generating a report related to a measurement result of the cell provided by the base station, monitors a state of a radio link with an own cell, and performs measurement on reception of the downlink signal. If an instruction for restricting the measurement to a part of the radio resources is included in the control information from the base station after the radio link failure occurs, the terminal generates and transmits a radio link failure report including the measurement result in the radio resources as instructed when the radio link failure occurs.

  • Publication number: 20180368031
Abstract: When detecting occurrence of an event for transmitting a measurement report of a radio condition of a cell at a frequency set for a base station apparatus, to the base station apparatus (3) communicating with a terminal apparatus (2), the terminal apparatus (2) in a wireless communication system (1) creates a measurement report including information indicating radio conditions of cells at a frequency at which the event occurred and at another different frequency. The base station apparatus (3) controls whether or not to perform handover of the terminal apparatus (2) to another cell, on the basis of the measurement report transmitted from the terminal apparatus (2). Thereby, there is provided a wireless communication system in which a base station apparatus and the terminal apparatus are communicable with each other using multiple frequencies, the wireless communication system being capable of shortening time required for handover.
