Abstract: A capsule sealing apparatus which includes a capsule conveyor device with horizontally maintained slats on which capsules are mounted horizontally throughout the travel, during which the seams between the caps and bodies of the capsules are sealed by rotary coating discs that pick up the sealer from a tank disposed below the capsule conveyor device.

Abstract: Coated electrode which can produce a weld metal showing good impact toughness and good COD values. This coated electrode comprises a carbon steel and a coating composition comprising 2 to 12% calculated as TiO.sub.2 of a titanium oxide, 0.2 to 8% of at least one selected from the group consisting of Ti, Al and Mg, 0.2 to 2% calculated as B.sub.2 O.sub.3 of a boron oxide or boron oxide compound, 40 to 60% of at least one selected from the group consisting of CaCO.sub.3, MgCO.sub.3 and BaCO.sub.3, 15 to 30% of at least one selected from the group consisting of CaF.sub.2, MgF.sub.2 and AlF.sub.3, 1 to 4.8% Si, 3 to 9% Mn, the balance being a slag forming agent, an arc stabilizing agent and a binder.

Abstract: A coating composition for a coated electrode for arc welding comprising 3 to 30% of fibrous mineral, 2 to 12% of crystalline cellulose, with the balance being at least one of a slag forming agent, an arc stabilizing agent, a deoxidizing agent and an alloying agent.

Abstract: A coating composition for a welding electrode comprising 35 to 55% CaCO.sub.3, 1 to 8% Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, 1 to 7% CaF.sub.2, with the ratio of Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3 to CaF.sub.2 being from 0.4 to 1.6, 1 to 5% Mn, 4 to 9% Si and 2 to 9% Ni with the balance being a slag forming agent, an arc stabilization agent and a binding agent.
