  • Publication number: 20160116197
Abstract: When a defrosting of an exterior heat exchanger is performed, a refrigeration cycle device switches to a refrigerant circuit, in which a refrigerant discharged from a compressor dissipates its heat at an interior condenser and the exterior heat exchanger, the refrigerant dissipating the heat at the interior condenser and the exterior heat exchanger is decompressed by a battery expansion valve, and then the refrigerant decompressed by the battery expansion valve evaporates at a battery heat exchanger to be drawn into the compressor. Thus, the heat absorbed by the refrigerant from a secondary battery via a battery ventilation air can be used to defrost the exterior heat exchanger, while sufficiently heating the interior ventilation air at the interior condenser.

  • Publication number: 20150121939
Abstract: When a refrigerant flow-path switch performs switching to a first refrigerant flow path, an interior condenser heating air blown into an interior as a first temperature-adjustment subject and an auxiliary heat exchanger are connected in parallel, and the auxiliary heat exchanger heats air blown to a battery as a second temperature-adjustment subject. In contrast, when the refrigerant flow-path switch performs switching to a second refrigerant flow path, an interior evaporator cooling air blown into the interior and the auxiliary heat exchanger are connected in parallel, and the auxiliary heat exchanger cools the air blown to the battery. With this arrangement, one common auxiliary heat exchanger can cool or heat the air for the battery, thereby leading to reduction in size of an entire refrigeration cycle device.
