  • Patent number: 11237070
Abstract: A sensor connector compatible with various sensor unit repertoires and capable of improving production efficiency is provided. The sensor connector includes terminal modules to be inserted into a module inserted portion, and commonized pogo pin type terminal module is brought into contact with a connection terminal via slide contact segments capable of sliding relative to the connection terminal exposed to a region closer to the module inserted portion. Thus, the sensor connector can be compatible with the sensor unit 1 having various repertoires by changing, for example, the arrangement and the number of poles of the module inserted portions of the connector housing.

  • Patent number: 4872293
Abstract: For cutting sheet metal or other work by means of a jet of water containing abrasive particles, an abrasive water jet nozzle assembly is provided to which there are separately supplied highly pressurized water and an abrasive suspension. The abrasive suspension is such that abrasive particles with an average size of up to 100 microns are held in suspension in water. The abrasive suspension is introduced into the ejected water by virtue of a partial vacuum created in the nozzle assembly by the pressurized water. The nozzle assembly directs the resulting mixture as an abrasive water jet against the work for cutting thereof. Preferably, the abrasive water jet is recovered for recirculation back to the nozzle assembly as an abrasive suspension of controlled abrasive concentration. Various constructions of the nozzle assembly and various recovery systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4565849
Abstract: A process for preparing polyamide elastomers is provided which process comprises reacting a polyamide-forming component having carboxyl groups at both ends thereof with polyoxyalkylene glycol(s) at least 10 wt. % of which comprises a polyoxy-2-methyl-1,3-propylenediol having a number-average molecular weight of about 400 to 10,000. The polyamide-forming component forms a polyamide block having a recurring unit of the formula: ##STR1## in which n represents a positive integer of 5 to 11, and/or ##STR2## in which l represents a positive integer of 6 to 20 and m represents a positive integer of 4 to 20.The obtained polyamide elastomers have excellent low-temperature properties and elastic recovery.

  • Patent number: 4537997
Abstract: In a process for producing an aldehyde by hydroformylating allyl alcohol with carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas in the presence of a catalyst comprising a rhodium compound and a tertiary phosphine in an organic solvent and separating the resulting aldehyde with water extraction from the reaction mixture, the catalyst is maintained and recovered in the activity by treating the catalyst-containing solution in the organic solvent with a gaseous mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas after the water extraction step.

  • Patent number: 4521571
Abstract: A process for preparing polyester elastomers from a dicarboxylic acid, mainly an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, or an ester-forming derivative thereof, a low molecular weight glycol, mainly 1,4-butanediol, and a polyoxyalkylene glycol is provided. This process is characterized in that at least 10 wt. % of the polyoxyalkylene glycol comprises a poly(oxy-2-methyl-3,3-propylene)diol. The obtained polyester elastomers have excellent low-temperature properties and elastic recovery.
